If it's at the expense of carbs, then that's no bad thing, apparently. Now the latest dietary advice is a high protein low carb diet, every little helps, as they say about a certain store.

You're absolutely right. The increase in protein is fractional and not worth the price increase. Usually at the expense of either carbs or even fibre.
80p is fine for a cereal but don't buy it for protein

I watched a TV program that advised the new high protein cerials are just a gimmick. Not worth the extra protein if you look at the extra calaries and sugar. Just buy normal shreddies and eat 3 cashew nuts was the advice if I remember. A guide here: http://www.nutrition-coach.co.uk/blog/shreddies/ good price though as they hike the price up when it's high protein.
