Not ideal,I'd have a look elsewhere for the correct grade at a good price. Ebay can be good.

thanks that helps alot, so in this case this wont be suitable as it is a C3 and not an A3 or B4 right?

OK,car manufacturers are getting cunning at hiding oil specs and just recommending a brand they have a tie up with to increase their profit. What they can't hide is the spec of the oil they are pushing. In your case any 5w-30 fully synthetic or semi synthetic low ash which meets or exceeds ACEA (this is the body that regulates oil behaviour) A3/B4 This is not a very high spec, some Asda oils, castrol GTX,Magnatec etc meet it.
If you do a high mileage or leave it to the max time between services then go for fully synthetic. It always says on the can so yu are looking for
5w-30 oil to ACEA A3/B4 in either fully synthetic or semi synthetic. As long as it meets the spec the brand does not matter,it is all hype about the "special" properties. Hope that helps

Hello, need some help as the car manual doesnt state what oil i should be using. I am currently having trouble trying to get my head around this table. http://www.peugeot.com.au/media/deliacms/media/3/305-df583b.pdf
I have a peugeot 207 1.4 2009 model 5 door. Would greatly appreciate some advice as this is my first car/oil change.

Thanks for your effort to help. Yes I found the handbook less than helpful, so your advice is much appreciated.

I've just looked it up for you and I understand the handbook is less than clear except saying 5w-30 fully synthetic is preferred. Nissan garages use a 10w-40 oil which is thicker than 5w-30 at start up,lord knows why. This oil is fine and exceeds all specs relevant to your vehicle.

Will this be OK for my Nissan note 1.6 Ntec 2012? I do usually use 5W-30 fully synthetic

You've got the handbook, check approved spec in there against approved spec on this oil,if they are the same then it's fine
