Has anybody tried these?

Yep. Great for long runs or cycling. Taste better than most energy bars I've tried.

I use them exclusively for cycling because they're compact, easy to open and tasty. It means I can easily fit them in my jersey back pockets and then not worry about getting them out or loosing control whilst trying to open. They're also not too wet and not too dry so really easy to chew while still pedalling at standard pace.

Science in sport? Talk about false advertising

You seem like an expert in sport seeing that you have posted deals for WWE - fake American wresting, candyfloss, profiteroles and video games.
It's almost like saying that WWE is a sport instead of a play....
BTW I have no idea if these are any good as I haven't tried them. 44p each might be good value. As long as whoever buys them puts the empty wrappers in their pocket who cares?
A 16p banana and handful of nuts does me fine

I've tried many of these protein bars and nothing beats the Trek bars.

These aren't protein bars though. They're for endurance sports where you need carbohydrates to keep going.

Thanks, appears to be charging me just £8.26

Sorry I haven't posted any deals for the science lectures, podcasts, talks, events, books, journals that I enjoy, where they regularly talk about nonsense marketing in every field, including sports nutrition, where prices are bumped up with overhyped and nonsense claims for effects you can easily get from everyday products that cost a fraction of the price.
Btw that's candy floss flavoured grapes I posted, a fruit  but thanks for trying

Be careful with bananas, they can stain clothing. My white jersey looks like someone has sneezed on the back of it...

Same can be said for a handful of nuts.

Any good for weight loss?

Wouldn't suggest it, they're mainly carbohydrate so you'll inevitably get the spike of energy then the crash

I tried these and thought they were pretty good, they are pretty nice and are easy to digest, This is a pretty decent price for them if you are willing to pay it but like others have said they are cheaper alternatives that do the same thing, Im a fan of the classic malt loaf for a pound, can't go wrong with some flapjack or some fig rolls either :P
