I recently purchased the RX 480 Sapphire Nitro 8GB and I had to return it a few hours after, the exhaust pipes were facing directly infront of my SSD which I couldn't move, and it was reaching dangerous temps. Sometimes you gotta get a reference blower xD

I've got the reference, picked up 2nd hand. wouldn't pay this as it's loud and run hot hot hot

I had the reference RX 480 and tested it on an open test bed - it wouldn't sustain boost clock so you're losing perf. No problem with Sapphire variant. I really can't recommend the reference design.
