I still got my panny plasma commercial panel n love it still. I will jump to oled when the time is right. The beauty with a good plasma is any K looks natural and much better than any led. 4k hdr which my panel cant display looks insanely better than led 4k. I think im going to get an led for bedroom and a bit of gaming and Rocksmith but for living room it has to be oled. To be honest I am even contemplating a second hand plasma instead and wait for oled. Led has been such a massive let down. 3d is dying, curve is dying, and led will die, but it will not be fondly remembered like good plasmas. If ever there was a rip off tv its LED!

We went plasma three years ago (PS60F5500 Samsung) after owning an LG 3D 55" LED T.v. which had serious banding issues and backlight conformity issues. We then had a look at just about every other LED TV on the market at the time and almost everything sub £1500 had either similar issues or problems with shadowing in the corners - usually hidden by POS material ......
My wife had stated categorically that she didn't want a plasma but fell in love with the first one we looked at hence why we got a 60" Plasma with a 5 year warranty for under a grand. Apart from two replacement screens (first one failed with lines, second one was DOA when it turned up as a replacement) it has been pretty good.

Still rocking my 8 year old 50 inch pioneer Kuro 9th gen plasma. Never had to touch any settings, plays everything perfect. It won't be coming off my wall until it breaks.

Haha, is any of that serious?
I'm pretty sure you would be mightily impressed with my LG 65" CURVED, 3D, Super UHD, 10 bit, LED...and no, I won't swap it for your ancient ex-shopping mall display plasma!

Are dead pixels really an issue on a 4K screen, even this size?
Doubtful you'd notice them even as close as 1 foot from the screen, normal viewing distance for a screen of this size, 10 feet+ never.
Stuck pixels, that's another thing. Blue or Red stuck sub pixels, doubtful they'd cause issue but green possibly.

Only a handful of capacitors? Sounds as good as my broom. It's only had 16 new heads and 5 new handles, good as new.

I wouldn't touch any Samsung or LG if it didn't come with a 5 year warranty. My Samsung Plasma has been repaired three times in two years.

Same amount of pixels as any 4K TV

The pixels must be massive on this!
You must be able to see them if you pass within a metre of it.
great price for the size. if i only had another grand i'd probably get it. it's a good sign prices are coming down for the bigger screens. theres a few decent 65" models hitting the £700ish mark now

Went to look at this and came away with the Sony 65" which was same price with 5yrs warranty.
Wasn't happy with the reviews ie dead pixels.
But if size is important lot of screen for the money
