Just to clarify that is 10 years on the motor only. Our friends have the LG and rate it but the 5yr warranty on the samsung tips the balance in it's favour in my opinion. Probably all irrelevant anyway when they get cancelled!

that's what i thought. i did'nt order anyway.

There was a similar offer from LG extending the warranty to 5 years on this model that my friends got but I don't know if that has finished or not - if anyone does get one they might want to look into it as it's a nice bonus if it's still running.

I managed to order one despite having to call the fraud department of my card company...they thought it was suspicious I'd bought the £144 oven just minutes before haha hoping this gets delivered but won't hold my breath

At the placing the order stage when entering by payment details, order summary showed £249 + free fitting etc. Lo and behold, the Order Confirmation shows £569 !!!. Just got off phone to Tesco Direct and now have to provide screen shots as proof of price.

You should have waited until AFTER its been delivered. That's your ace card. If you play that now, they will just cancel and not honour the sale. If you wait until after it's been delivered, i can't imagine them wanting to come and talke back the used washing machine.

Hi guys. Filled out the ordering sheets then just after i pressed the Pay "button" the summary about the purchase came back stating the order i made was 569 pounds :smile: then i opened the product site in a different window it showed 435. I called up Customer Service it was a good half hour to even cancel my order and they said no "history log" exists about the product that it was 249 pounds. Raised a Query will see what they do otherwise its no point to order from tescodirect because of reliability. Good Day

should of waited, chances are you might of paid £5xx when it arrived then you should of showed them proof that it was listed as £2xx you would of had a chance. Rule one Don't call at all :stuck_out_tongue: ( even though they find out in the end ).

I never considered that a multinational company, with half a million employees and £55 billion revenue, with over £100 million sales and marketing budget, would risk their reputation with deliberate price errors to drive traffic. They must have made at least £1000 from this devilish strategy, well spotted!!

orded my hotpoint one from there a few months back tesco accept the ordered but it was processed and delivery via hotpoint direct and it took 3 weeks.

​I have an lg one and had it for 5 years and it's been near perfect only thing wrong was a faulty door catch that cost £5.95 off ebay.Im a samsung fan but the direct drive LG is whisper quiet and very well made.I cam balance a 20p coin on mine at full rinse and the coin won't fall over its that stable and smooth.

I managed to get this washer via ao.com price match (rang them up and they check tesco's website and price match it, 10 mins later the price had gone back up) it arrived earlier today.
