The Samsung WF80F5E5U4X ecobubble™ washing machine is A+++ energy rated, comes with a generous 8kg load capacity and hosts a range of intuitive features and technology helping you to save time, money and get great results from your washing.
This machine has ecobubble™ technology, designed to get the most out of your detergent for an ultra gentle clean that saves on energy too. Inside is a unique bubble generator that dissolves detergent thoroughly and injects it with air to produce a rich, soapy foam cushion. Even at cooler temperatures, this foam penetrates fabrics faster, cleaning as effectively as a warm standard cycle.
Thanks to the uniquely designed Diamond Drum™, you can easily care for your clothes while thoroughly washing them. The diamond shape holes collect more water than a normal drum so your clothes are in contact with water for longer, while smaller holes protect your fabrics from damage.
Other wash programs include a 15-minute quick wash setting for when you’re in a hurry, along with wool and hand wash programs dedicated to your delicate items. The handy Stain Away programme removes a variety of common stains from clothes more effectively than on a standard wash cycle. This programme also reduces the reliance of pre-stain solution treatments.
A LED display along with a time remaining indicator and timer delay allow you to plan ahead for your washing needs. Variable spin and speed settings allow you to get the most from this washing machine to suit your requirements.
Easy maintenance and efficient running comes in the form of Samsung’s innovative Digital Inverter Motor. The motor is more durable, quieter and energy efficient than a conventional motor. Noise and vibration are kept to a minimum, which in turn reduces wear and tear on the working parts of the motor itself. Digital Inverter Motors are also all guaranteed for 10 years.
A highly innovative solution for checking any issues with your washing machine comes in the form of smart check. Your smart mobile phone can be used to identify any issues, reducing the reliance on finding the manual and preventing unnecessary engineer callouts.
Key Benefits:
Quick Wash function is handy when you’re in a rush
Stain Away programme helping to reduce pre stain treatments
A+++ rating for energy efficiency
Wool & hand wash programmes to look after your delicate items
Smart check- a convenient solution operated by smart phone
Beware of co-op free connection and removal. The delivery guys are made aware if its free or a paid service, their attitude and commitment differs quite a bit between the two, IMO they shouldn't be aware if its a freebie or not.

This Currys one is no where near as good as this one - much better screen and quieter wash and spin cycles. ( I bought it recently so compared them all ) - I'm not that impressed with it though - looks good, but shakes alot on spin no matter how much i level it. It isn't that quiet either so the Currys one which was around 6db louder must be really loud

Washing machines, mainly get stuffed FULL which is a nono, add water and 'my machine keeps breaking' - no offence but if the bearings keep going that seems a weight issue.
There is a reason why weight of cycles exist, that most people ignore, weight plus water equal maximum load, thankfully even the cheapest airlines understand the maximum operating weight rule as owner of the aircraft.
Consumers ? not really, the way I see most people loading machines they need to allocate more laundry time or buy another machine - honestly say politely to anyone I think you may be overloading the machine, count how many positive or interested in knowing why replies come back - usually men shrug shoulders 'dont care', woman act like 'are you telling me how to do my godammit job!' Self sexism!
My last machine was a Servis at 17 years old, when the current Hotpoint replaced it. Old school training from my gran on machine use - when manufacturers taught the importance of it when machines were for a half life shelf life not a self industry serving 5 year warranty. Grans Tricity machine and tumble drier lasted 30+ years and used daily outlived herself.
Research wear and tear on washing machines, like saving petrol, how you load and drive effects performance and parts.
I do a light fastwash almost daily before making dinner/tea, 30 min quickwash and out to dry, once every 5 days a 60/90 degree wash for bedding, towels, dishtowels and underwear - never more than 50% of the drum loaded (which is a golden rule if you cant be like most bothered about learning weights of each available cycle on your own machine)
There must be a good quick ref washing machine guide on the internet somewhere, maybe someone knows one ?
Washing Machines for Dummies would be a great addition.
*My cheapo Servis required in its lifetime, the door seal turned and twice the brushes replaced. It cost under a £1 a month to buy for 17 years use. Extended (paid for) Warranty ? LOL I'm a HUKD'er!

Anyone have any experience with a Samsung WF9EF5E3U4W ecobubble™ ? We're after a new one and it's currently reduced at John Lewis and seems like a decent deal.
