Reduced from £3 to 45p, in my local Sainsbury's, ticket said sale price. Thought I'd give it a try for that price. Suitable for Vegans.

Indeed. "Free From" being the brand would be fine if they actually didn't make it into a naturally readable sentence on the product packaging. Which they invariably do. Plus, half the time they aren't terribly clear what they're free from, instead implying they're actually free from the main ingredient. I wouldn't have thought it hard to address these issues instead of essentially writing nonsense on a product (which could even be breaking the law - you can't legally say a pack of biscuits is "free from biscuits").

To add to your point, it isn't even ice cream. It's a "Ice Dessert"
I am not great with grammar and am wondering whether, as the brand name is "Free From" does your amusing point still apply?

"After all these years, I'm finally free from coconut based vanilla ice-cream!"
(free from coconut) based ice cream <- makes sense
free (from coconut) based ice cream <- yay free ice cream
free (from coconut based ice) cream <- sounds revolting but hey, it's free!
(free from coconut based ice) cream <- most cream already is?
(free from coconut based) ice cream <- nonsense
(free from) coconut based ice cream <- nonsense

Where is your local?
Have you got a proper link to the product?

Hi, Bletchley in Milton Keynes is my local. I had a quick look on the Sainsbury's website and couldn't find it.

This may be a newer version of the product as I think the reason the posted product is cheap, is that they have updated it
