I had one which failed 3 days before 12 month warranty expired, Currys replaced it with no quibbles, also had a 2 year warranty with Russell Hobbs which was not needed.
Yes and is always £19.99 ?

i'm left handed and had to take a new kettle back because it only had the guage on one side of the kettle. not saying this is the same but can't see that it isn't...just be aware...
