Great price for the limited edition of this visual novel - includes an outer box and art book.
The art in this game is fantastic so I highly recommend picking up this version if you're planning on buying it.
The trade-in price at CeX for the base game is currently £16.
They also have the Steins;Gate 0 Limited Edition on PS4 for £24.99 too.

Root Letter is the first in a brand new ‘Kadokawa Game Mystery’ series - a collection of Visual Novels with exceptionally high production values. Set in Shimane prefecture - a place rich in history, culture and natural beauty - vLetter revolves around the mystery of Fumino Aya, your old high school pen friend who went missing 15 years ago. On receiving her final letter 15 years late, in which she confesses to a murder, it’s up to you, the player, to unravel the mystery of what happened to her.
Reminiscing through previous letters from Fumino Aya, you must piece together the truth, alongside the testimonies from seven witnesses who knew her. Did she really murder someone, was she telling the truth in her letters – was she even real?
Travel from location to location in Shimane prefecture and interrogate people from her past – only by examining her letters can you unravel the mystery. Boasting beautiful character artwork from Mina Taro and some of Japan’s best-loved voice actresses, Root Letter represents one of the most exciting additions to the Visual Novel genre in years.

Thanks I just bought a copy. I was sad when I couldn't find it instore for £20 last month, and I've been checking the GAME website every so often since then as I had a feeling they were going to reduce the online price. I suppose it was worth waiting

The postcode checker shows in-store stock at some locations, still £15. Should add "in-store" to the title and unexpire.

Cheers op. Good job I plan on trading the one I bought back in. It bugs me when you buy a 'new' game and see fingerprints all over the disc when you first open the case. About as new as Grainger Games new! :smirk:

Hah, I just very recently had the same experience. Bought a standard PS4 copy of Root Letter for £24.99 'new' from Grainger Games a few days ago. New my ****. It was unsealed, the disc had prints on it and the case showed signs of wear and tear. I sent them an email explaining how they sent me a used copy by mistake and their response was basically "eh, it's what we do, the game is still new and never been used even if it isn't sealed." Anyway, I've sent the game back to them and I'm waiting for a full refund. In the meantime, thank you GAME for offering the limited edition for £15!
I'm never using Grainger Games again.

I almost ordered a "new" copy of Root Letter (or was it Psycho Pass? Maybe Psycho Pass) for the Vita from Grainger Games last week, as they were the cheapest by a good few quid.
Having heard the horror stories, and noticing that the used version was curiously "out of stock", I emailed ahead to ask if there was any chance this "new" copy was sealed.
I received some nonsensical answer explaining that the way they receive their games from the supplier means games are rarely sealed. Yes, because the "supplier" is comprised of gamers selling their soiled wares :stuck_out_tongue:

I received my PS4 copy today, the box wasn't sealed but that's because they open and use the box as the display, the art book seemed in good condition, the game case was sealed, however the box was slightly torn
I wish they'd not list the game as 'new' or 'mint' if it's clearly not in 'mint' condition.
I'll still enjoy the game and trade in when finished :man:

Same story here. Box had been roughed up a bit.
It's a good job I wasn't buying it for collector's reasons.

Got the last Vita copy in the Bristol store. What was amusing was that there was a pre-owned copy right next to it for £24.99. Good old GAME...

None in Glasgow Braehead, or so I was told. Oddly, the stock checker is green - not just yellow, so I'm not convinced there wasn't one hiding in a drawer behind the till.

Naturally now regretting that decision
