Whilst probably still the cheapest right now, i've not voted either way. It looks like £89.99 was the average price for this on amazon so only really a £10 reduction.

Go careful when reading amazon reviews. The top reviews I read about this product were "vine" reviews. I am sure if the printer was free it would be easier to give a 5 star review. The non vine reviews are more of a mix but generally ok so still a good deal for £79.99. That being said paying £277 would be steep for an wireless A4 colour laser. In my opinion this printers RRP should be around £150-£180, £200 tops. Heat added.

I have this printer, it's massive! Be warned. I've had no problems with it but I don't print much, just the odd boarding pass. It can't print on card that's too thick. That jammed it up pretty good. Duplex is handy . Also it doesn't support 'air print' (for apple products). You have to use an app which is somewhat dodgy when printing word docs (things like the font came out massive, looked ridiculous. PDF's and photos print perfectly). If you want to print a web page you need to navigate to it within the app (not ideal). Laptops and computers can use the printer like normal.

Couldn't agree more. The no of 5 star reviews given by folks 'sent this item free/ at a discounted price for a fair and unbiased review' is staggering. For many items, if you filter for 'verified purchases only' the no. of reviews is very, very small. I don't trust Amazon reviews anymore.

I would say indifferent reviews but heat for the price!

That's not necessarily true. Whilst there are some poor vine reviewers, these are usually very top line and short. However, some vine reviewers are very good, and go into lots of depth. It is usually the case they have tested similar products. It make no difference to what they get free if they vote one star of five stars, regardless of what anybody believes

Supports duplex, that's impressive at this price point. There don't seem to be any 3rd party toners though and I believe the toners are chipped too so replacement could prove costly. Overall it's gets a hot from me.

It says in the reviews that other cheaper toners are available.

Duplex on this means the printer will ignore 2 4 6 etc, and pause whilst you put the paper back in before you press the resume button

Toner refills and chip replacements are available on Ebay cheaply from about £32 for a set

Bought the C240DN toners lasted 8 months, cheapest replacements are £100, originals are over £250 a set. Cheap printer, HIGH running costs and it is massive as pointed out. Spend a bit more find one that has cheaper running costs.

I've had one of these for about 18 months now and can't fault it. If it did need replacing, it would be my first choice when looking for another. Has handled every type and thickness of paper I've put through it so far, some of the weights have been beyond what is listed as the max gsm.

As always, i wish i had a time machine. I'll have to replace the black cartridge on a Dell 1250c soon, so may as well upgrade to this for the wireless and duplex features.

I have the 1320c (not the 1250c) plugging it into a homeplug gives me wireless printing, drivers are a bit of an issue on Win 10(I have found a work around though), but toner is so cheap on Ebay, it will be kept in use until it dies!

I can confirm, duplex on mine down not involve me doing anything manual. It sucks the paper back in and prints on the other side. It's a good printer just not perfect with apple products (which I have)

Agreed, I bought this about 1 year ago using flubit and I payed 70-80. It's still a good price. But not a great discount.

Thank you for the link. I have submitted my claim. I have had this for about a month now. Big heavy printer. Got it easily set up as a network printer. Working well for small home with 2 kids who need to do regular homework along with some semi official work for the adults. Easy access from computers and laptops (Apple aswell). A bit noisy when printing. Fairly good print quality. So pleased for having the automatic duplexing function, should reduce paper usage by the kids. Have not attempted to print from any mobile device yet. I am well pleased with it.
4 x toners for the brother are £30 here, and I rate Brother product very highly. Never had any issues with them.

I think what he meant was how did the OP find this deal as it's not listed on Amazon's deals of the day page - I can't see it either. Goto Amazon home page, click deals, click all deals of the day and this printer isn't listed. No idea where the OP found it from.

Has this only got 1 paper tray? Ie I need one for large ups labels and they take half a page, so the other half i cut and use again so ideally need some quick enough to just put all the halves in lol rather than opening and closing trays etc?

I have an HP CP1515n. Bullet proof and genuine toners won't break the bank. Turn on low toner warning override and toners last very well. Genuine toners from eBay are viable if you shop around. £60 will get you one with near full toners - well that's what I paid. Not a dinosaur of a printer. Still modern and competent with very high quality print capability

These are a good reliable printer, and unless it states otherwise, it will have Ricoh's two year warranty.

Don't buy this printer, I have had three of them, all broke after a year, got replaced, but one the power shorted out and then wouldn't switch on another time it was overheating and smoke was coming out off the back on a 180 print job. It was switched off and didn't switch back on and another time when I was hardly using it it would contstantly ask for a new cartridge when I knew for a fact it was over half full, cheap for a reason, don't buy.
