Joking aside all the bad reviews seem to be red ones that don't work so could be a bit hit and miss unless of course you ordered a new one as well and accidentally returned the wrong one if it was faulty.

Got three of these xmas before last (one for each of our three kids) - they are very good indeed.
(We bought in the argos 3 for 2 toy sale, so it wasn't such a big hit to santa's pocket.)

Seated version still available. Unsure about the law regarding them but doesn't deter the kids using them. Most things I've gotten on the used deals are new just damaged boxes... here's hoping
