Tastes just like soylent green? I wish they'd just get rid of the pretend notion that it's anything like meat and just sell it simply as a fungus based food, job done. If you considered chicken nuggets or the cheapest supermarket sausages to be "real meat", you might need swayed, unlikely but fire anybody that eats real meat is totally unconvincing. If you like Quorn this may well be a good deal for you. Handy for folks that have not tried it as well.

I use it half and half in bolognese. Half meat half quorn. Bulks it up and makes it better for you. I can taste the difference but if you mix it with real meat or add stock to it it's actually pretty nice. I like the chicken pieces too.

I think it tastes fine when used as part of a bolognese for example. Beef is way tastier than chicken so is harder to replicate, but given current health recommendations are to avoid eating red meat more than 3 times per week it might be worth giving it a try.
