It's definitely worth mentioning, digital lovers. It's £3.99 on PlayStation Store currently.
London is falling. Are you prepared? The Last Blight is upon us. It was foretold. For the second time in history, a great plague has shrouded London in a fog of death. Big Ben tolls as thousands of unprepared die, or worse, are infected by a sickness more gruesome than death.
You’re still breathing, for now, but how long will you survive the labyrinth of London’s streets and underground canals, abandoned by the outside world and surrounded by infected? The horrifying remains of humanity, ravaged by the terrifying disease, are shuffling through the streets, waiting at every turn to prey on your living flesh.
ZOMBI takes the power of the latest generation of hardware to bring you a new level of horror. Test your will to survive, but beware: death is permanent, and one wrong move can cause you to lose everything.

As much as people gave the non WiiU versions crap I thoroughly enjoyed playing through this. Its not very long but definitely fun even if the occasional annoying bug works it way out. Does it probably benefit from the WiiU's game pad? Yeah. But at £4-£8 you'll get your enjoyment from it!
Plus, easy 1000g/plat trophy if that's your thing :smirk:

Currently playing this. Its quite enjoyable and love the London Underground settings. Would recommend at this price for zombie game lovers.

The Last of Us, Walking Dead, RE1 & RE4 are my favourites. Dead rising 1 was original back then
But imo zombi is one of the better zombie games. Heat added for the price but gonna pass. The cricket bat went great with wii stick. Can't imagine it being as fun on a ds4 controller

Serious question: do that many people not have a PS+ subscription? This was free a few months ago, and you can grab a sub (with a little patience) for just over £30. So this game alone would've justified 25% of your sub - not to mention all the other 'free' games you'd get across 12 months.
Are people voting hot purely because they like the game? Or, more likely, because CEX pays £8 in vouchers?

 brilliant
Okay it got repetitive after a while. Bashing the x button is gonna get old even faster on the ps4 transition I would imagine

Awful in just about every way. Not least the major game breaking bugs. I got it free on PS+ and felt I paid to much. Go play Dying Light instead, that's really cheap now too.

But when the 12 months are up, you lose the game again. It's a rental, not a "free" game.
Or you could just resubscribe - but then "keeping" the game requires £35/year for however many years you want to 'keep' it (assuming the PS+ price doesn't go up again).
I know what you mean about PS+ appearing to be great value for money. It certainly is - in the short term. As soon as you start looking at years (let alone decades), the value proposition falls apart for serious gamers.

Serious answer: it was on PS+ in April 2016. People have purchased PlayStations since then.

Terrible terrible game, no wonder the Wii-u went downhill so quickly of this is the type of trash they had as a "big release"

The WiiU version is considered the best but for the life of me, I didn't like it at all. Rather play State of Decay or another better zombie game on Xbox/PC.
Controls and graphics just were never too appealing to me. Making it exclusive to the WiiU GamePad was also a bit of a deal breaker as I prefer traditional controllers.

If you think it was bad on the Wii-U then imagine your thought's on the PS4/XB1 version, where they totally broke the one life only mechanics of the game simply because of the cloud save features on these platforms, now you can play this game on survival mode and it is a walk in the park, unlike the U version which was very challanging to say the least.

Bargain. Stop bleeding in a ps+ or live. It's a physical game for under a tenner. Got to be a winner

Leaving PS+ aside, it definitely ticks those all-important HUKD boxes:
- physical!
- resell value!
- less than a tenner!

Well, it's £3.99 on the PlayStation Store. That would definitely be my choice of purchase, if I didn't already get it from PS+ and own it on Wii U

A reasonable point, but I suspect - by the time my subscription lapses - losing a digital copy of something like Zombi will be the last thing on my mind :stuck_out_tongue:
And don't forget PS+ isn't just about 'free' games: there's multiplayer, exclusive discounts, and online storage. The effective cost of me 'renting' Zombi is next to nothing.

Digital?! Digital?! You madman! No resell value! What if it gets taken down?! What if you violate the T's and C's and your account is suspended?! Etc etc

I've read the marketing, too. Paying for multiplayer, paying for cloud storage, paying so you get the regular discounts instead of the nerfed discounts... I'm still amazed that any company is getting away with this.

I remember playing this on the Wii U. I was hooked start to finish and really enjoyed it. Playing in the London setting was interesting and they really nailed the look of it all. It is not a perfect game but if you can look past some of the strange game design choices and some bugs it is well worth a go.. there's nothing else quite like it.

Apparently plays best on Wii U and has co -op there too.
