Try it even if you haven't liked FPS in the past. Campaign is as good as an action/adventure game campaign and the TTK (time to kill) on multiplayer is high enough for noobs to compete and have fun
Plus there's giant robots with chest laser cannons in it. What's not to love

Respawn have also confirmed that any future DLC and content updates will be free for game owners for ever. Which is refreshing

Deserves as many sales as possible as a brilliant game alround. Multiplayer is fast and rewarding and finally got round to playing and completing the campaign today and had so much fun.

Still going to buy this but how could they remove burn cards. They were a great addition to the multiplayer and made each prestiege level worthwhile.

This is available cheaper elsewhere. Great game, poor successor to the original. As a die hard fan of the original I was really disappointed with the lack of a core PVP experience.
Respawn has made some major mistakes with the multiplayer this time around especially by not including at least 500 of online achievements and focusing entirely on the single player side of things. Removing burn cards has essentially flattened the game and caused it to be a literal case of 'who pulls trigger first' rather than through careful planning and inventory management.
Titan AI has been reduced majorly and there is a lot less customising available outside of the set 'classes' rather than being able to modify one of three base types.
Other than my gripes as a huge fan of the first one, it's a great game however put it this way... I'm still playing Titanfall 1

This game is better than Titanfall 1. Plus they have announced they will remaster the first games map as free DLC.

Not sure if this might sway you but with the new content update there's a new pilot vs pilot mode which may be to your liking. No date for the release but should be soon as they've announced it
The changes I think have made it accessible to a wider audience. This is a more mainstream title than TF1 but hard pressed to say inferior
If you get really good at the parkour and hip firing, it's not a case of who shoots first. I've been snuck up on plenty of time and used phase shift to kill the same attacking pilot

A really fun game with a great single player story and excellent multiplayer. Multiplayer motion feels just right and liquid smooth. There's currently a mix of pilot, titan and combination of both modes, DM, TDM, CTF, Dom, LMS (or rather Last TITAN standing), etc etc and private matches.
There's been 1 extra free map so far with more game modes and maps announced for Feb. All DLC is free - NO map pack that cost more than the blasted game!
