After scouring around for a PS4 deal for the missus after stupidly delaying over Xmas and Boxing Day deals, and with some negative comments on the Zavvi deal posted today, I have managed to find a PS4 deal for under £200 with a game.

I have only used ShopTo for games so will bow to the knowledge of others with regards to their reliability for consoles, but, if you're like me and missed out on the good deals over Xmas, then this one looks worth a go :sunglasses:

Look at Tesco Direct. There are plenty on there for £199 with a game. Plus Fifa17 for £20 and/or COD for £10 when bought with a PS4.

They've gone back up in price. If you can hold off buying, it might be worth waiting another week or so. They'll come back down i'm sure.

Sure about that? Now that, black friday, cyber monday, xmas and Jan sales are over price may stay as they are now, in fact they mentioned something about the faltering pound against the dollar may mean price goes up before it goes down.

Literally just yesterday Amazon had a few bundles for under £200, the Uncharted 4 bundle was £199 in the email from them yesterday morning. They've also got it for £185 right now in the Amazon Warehouse Deals as Like New including the bundled game and original packaging. Sounds like they've just been returned unwanted or something as it doesn't even say box damaged or anything

Glad I got the Tesco GTA5 bundle with COD while it was still £209.99 - really didn't expect them to go back up in price! I haven't done a lot other than play GTA5 ever since! :smiley:

Heat and I'd happily go with shopto for my console. I got my PS4 from them on release date. On time, well packaged. Recommend and amazing for the price mark.

Must have changed today then as i had a faulty console returned it and they said you got this just in time as they gone back up for 299.99 and thats on the receipt lol argos for you puzzle me sometimes

Thats a decent price for a 1TB

I also checked yesterday and they was a £299.99 for all 500gb bundled consoles and the 500gb console was £249.99 on its own went up from £199.99. I guess it was during new years day etc updating prices.

I’m also looking for a slim including a decent game, preferably battlefield 1. The best deal I saw for that was £180 at Argos after cashback, unfortunately I missed it. Wonder how long it’ll be till something like that comes up again, hmmm

Which console would you guys recommend, Xbox One S or ps4 slim?

I'm a playstation person through and through, but I didn't like the feel of the way the ps4 controller sits in my hands when I tried it out. The RL1/RL2 buttons were awkward.

PS4 Pro gets my vote if you can afford it, I've haven't been disappointed with any game on the Pro when comparing before and after Pro support is added, this is at 1080p.

Get yourself a CronusMAX PLUS and you can use any controller you like on a PS4, or get a third party controller.

The pro isn't really worth it if you don't have an awesome TV.

I got my slim on black friday only £199 with Uncharted 4 and Fifa 17. I sold Fifa 17 for £30 so effectively I got the Slim and probably the best game of 2016 for only £169. The slim's size is also pretty good since it can fit nicely under my TV. A pro wouldn't fit and my room is too small.

Yeah the PS4 pro would win hands down, but I'm not going to buy that. Too expensive and no point atm for me.
