Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where you must lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force. A living, breathing, open world responds to your actions - you and your Resistance Cell can inspire a rebellion on the streets and turn Occupation into Revolution, as oppressed civilians take up the fight. But your enemy has the advantage - superior technology, firepower, heavy armour and air support. You must learn the art of guerrilla warfare - ambush, sabotage, infiltration, deception - and fight a running battle through the war-ravaged suburbs of Philadelphia.

It really isn't. Played about an hour or so and uninstalled. I didn't believe it was as bad as people said but it is.
Good price if you must buy it but save your cash.

Bought for £8 from Argos, played a couple of missions and sold for £10 two days ago lol.
The game could've been quite good.

Terrible reviews. Save yourself £8 and play something good instead. Not enough time to play the good games never mind the dross.

Meh, official reviews are overrated these days, I tend to gauge player reactions instead, on forums and comments sections. Steam is a decent resource too.
After the patches, I've heard just as many enjoyed this as hated it. However, I'm waiting for it to be even cheaper before picking it up myself.
I don't get why people keep posting crap like this, no mans lie and mighty number 9

Has the patches fixed the gameplay yet?

A digital foundry video said it was vastly improved from the original state, if by gameplay you meant fps.

Great game, all the bad problems day one have been patched out, even better on PC, forget the release reviews, worth the money

Got this at Christmas for about £12 and was very pleasantly surprised. A far better game than many give it credit, in my opinion. For this price it's worth a dip if you like shooters with more to them than run and gun.
That said, I enjoyed James Bond Bloodstone and Quantum of Solace games, too, so maybe I'm no judge.

I actually quite enjoyed this game! It had its bugs and was overly ambitious but i still played through the entire story. down to personal taste I guess...

Maybe try improving on your reading comprehension before jumping in with old redundant links? I was pretty clear when I said plenty of people have enjoyed this game AFTER the patches.
There's YouTube links for those too, should you be bothered enough to look.

Started this last week and yes it's still full of bugs, the shooting will take you a while to get use to, the hit detection is pretty bad too sometimes. The frame rate has been fixed and hardly ever drops, resistance mode is fun and people do play it I always find a session. The story is really good IMO and the graphics at times are brilliant, once you get out of the main city it gets a lot better and the bugs almost go away. The game definitely needed another years development and clearly got rushed out, but even though it's probably the most buggy game I've played I really enjoyed it..... It could of been an awesome game.
The Devs said you can free roam after finishing story by loading a save before the point of no return.. for me that was not the case because all slots were 15 min before the end. I'm glad i made a back up save to USB just in case

Thanks for letting me know. I Purchased this on day 1 release date, and wasn't physically able to progress past the first 20 minutes due to bugs, traded it in a week later. very tempted to buy it again and give it another go

My point was that just because some people like it, doesn't mean that the game is not crap

You don't seem to understand the concept of subjective opinion. Never mind.
