Best price for what is shaping up to be a bit of a cult classic...
NieR: Automata is a fresh take on the action role-playing game (RPG) genre that gracefully blends mesmerizing action with a captivating story. As the highly anticipated follow-up to the 2010 cult hit NIER, NieR: Automata is currently being developed in collaboration with PlatinumGames Inc. The game's all-star team consists of producer Yosuke Saito (DRAGON QUEST X / NIER), director YOKO TARO (Drakengard/NIER), character designer Akihiko Yoshida from CyDesignation, Inc. (FINAL FANTASY XIV / BRAVELY DEFAULT), game designer Takahisa Taura from PlatinumGames Inc. (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance), and composer Keiichi Okabe from MONACA, Inc. (TEKKEN / Drakengard / NIER).
Invaders from another world attack without warning-unleashing the machine lifeforms. In the face of this seemingly insurmountable threat, the human race is driven from the earth and takes refuge on the moon. Humanity develops an army of android soldiers to fight back against the mechanical horde, but succeed only in slowing its advance. To break the deadlock, a new breed of android infantry is sent into the fray: the YoRHa squad. In the forsaken wasteland below, the war between the machines and the androids rages on. A war that is soon to unveil the long-forgotten truth of this world…

This was not on my radar till I played the demo. Can't wait now! HOT
Yeah, I pre-ordered that earlier... But then opted for the standalone copy as I didn't want to pay extra for a shirt that I wasn't overly impressed with.
Or you can get it as part of the BIGTHANKS code promotion where if you spend £50+, you get £10 off. I ended up going for that as well as the Rogue One Blu-Ray pre-order in the end. Cost me nearly £40 as I also had £10 gift card credit.

I have a copy, I bought it a while back when they looked to be getting a bit scarce.

Can we at least wait until it's out and reviewed before we start calling it a classic ?

Definitely worth a go mate although last time I checked ps3 copies were more expensive than the 360 version maybe they printed less.

Did I play the same demo? Played once beat 2 bosses then deleted. Nothing special or new to be seen, and I was mildly optimistic before playing it..
Each to their own I suppose.

I'm the same, felt it wasn't anything special at all. Maybe if it scores very well i'll pick it up after release.

Supporting this game at launch. Yoko Taro's writing, Keiichi Okabe's score & Platinum's gameplay is too much for me to miss out on.

Thanks... I think that £5 price-point was sufficiently adequate to make me consider it.

Platinum games have a history of dropping rather rapidly in price. And even though the game is likely to drop in price rather quickly, it seems like the kind of game I'd rather pick up and play Day One.
But yeah... waiting for FFXV to drop to around the £20-25 mark.
