I just called plusnet to ask if I could upgrade to the uswitch exclusive, they said yes so I pulled a fast one and they offered me the above.
She also mentioned that they have a new selection of contracts starting tomorrow so I could put my switch on hold and see which works out better for me.
(it's technically a £1.50 rolling discount added to my tariff)
hope this helps others.

If the essence of the deal is "so I pulled a fast one and they offered me the above." you'll need to explain what you did so it is repeatable otherwise there is no deal.
If you can, then heat for a hot deal is due.

Wouldn't any contract do this ?

FYI: just found out from my Experian CreditExpert file that taking up plusnet mobile (on a £10pm rolling contract) meant new credit commitment and therefore deducted -27 points from my score. :disappointed: #nothappy

I got 8gb 1500min for £10 a month , Have called them a few times and the wait times are a lot better then when I tried to call about a broadband question.
So hopefully there have sorted them selfs out as before it was a 30min to 1 hour wait on hold, but once you got through to them I found them pretty good to deal with as UK based.
That's the deal I've been looking at as had enough of 3 network
Am holding out to see what they offer from the 1st , or should I jump on it now :neutral_face:
I'm on the Life Mobile £1 tariff but i've only stayed with them because it's £1. The service is hopeless, constant dropped calls or unable to make calls, texts not arriving or taking hours. It's not the area i'm in because prior to this I was with Virgin Mobile who use EE too and it's the same phone and with Virgin the service was faultless. I don't know what Life Mobile/Plusnet are doing but it's not just me as the forums seem to be full of customers with the same service issues.
As and when my £1 deal ends I will be going back to Virgin Mobile. I certainly wouldn't be paying them a normal tariff price for such a terrible service.

Interesting i've had the pound a month deal its been 9 months now! I've experienced dropped calls bit only from a certain transmitter in town! No problem anywhere else! It is interesting what you say about virgin bit, i can't see why plusnet would throttle a certain transmitter and thats it!
It's not always the network either! If you have a cheap chinese phone then i'd check you do not have tin foil as an antenna its not always the network! My father in law used three and his phone said no network! My ipad has a three sim the 12gb one and it said 3 bars out of 5 so definitely wasn't the network!
But at a £1 a month i am happy! My wife uses the £10 for 1500 mins and 4gb data and she said the data was deffo faster than guffgaff! Don't know why people are slagging plusnet aren't they all the same! Eveyone moans about vodafone but when i used talktalk that are on voda never had any problems with them and signal was good!
I suppose try it and as they are 1month contracts you can leave so don't see what the issue is! Also this is not a deal its just retention so cold i'm afraid

wouldn't touch plusnet even at this price. Joined them in Jan on you switch deal.. mobile data not working, sent me a new sim to try and deactivated previous sim... no signal full stop on new sim. Was without a mobile phone for a week whilst I waited for new sim from three mobile!

yeah they pulled it earlier it seems, strange given Three's USwitch exclusive went up yesterday.
I don't think that Plusnet have updated anything.
They are offering double data without having to have Plusnet broadband, which to be honest is rubbish if you are already an existing customer.

The 4Gb for £10 looks pretty good, the 2Gb/2000 mins for £7.50 was better for my needs but expired yesterday :disappointed:

I have spoken to the Sales Team Leader and he says that this isn't an official offer, this tariff doesn't exist basically.

I certainly don't have the authorisation to process any discounts unfortunately, only the Sales Team has this authority.

Still using my £1 p/m contract with them myself maybe only 3g but I don't watch video on the go so suits me and I will not contact them in case they try to end mine <3 the 30 day part
Yep , link I posted now takes you direct to plus net with no deal
Three wouldn't budge so asked for puk codes , tbh the last six months ive struggled with the 3g/4g signal hence the change

Call 3 tell them the deal, if no joy JUMP...USwitch deals are uploaded by companies themselves, they can be pulled at any time. Infact its the 1st, it may disappear.

So not really a deal. You have to 'pull a fast one' & then hope....

What is there network coverage like, and do EE throttle back PlusNet customers?
hippojay to 28081947
31 Jan 17#9
Nope. You get the same 4G speeds and coverage. However you don't get some of the EE exclusive features:
* 4G double speed
* wifi callings
I guess they need some differentiation between them and the Reseller.
