Obviously these stores are local to me and the prices are likely to be store specific but the Asda fire sale continues to burn so it may well be a goose hunt for some but for those like myself there are still some smiles to be found
Happy new year folks..

How does this wireless headset compare to others around?

I've not had a chance to hook mine up yet.. I've taken it out of the box and given it a couple of coats of looking at but cannot attest to the quality of the sound through personal experience yet but they have always come highly recommended to me and now I've got myself a set I will see(hear) for myself  I would normally have tried them by now but I've been putting some time in on '7days to die' on the Xbox one.. loving it by the way!
Does anyone know if I can use the PS4 headset on the Xbox one? :/

Excellent sound quality for £40. I paid £60 and even then it was well worth the money. I have had a few headsets in the past. Sony Pulse, Turtle Beach 800 Elite, Turtle Beach x800. Turtle Beach x24.
The turtle beach 800 cost me £200 and that was during a sale. I then got these and the audio quality was on par just the TB 800 had a few more features. But not enough for me to keep them over the Sony 2.0. Mic quality is decent and there are some profiles you can put onto the headset via the headset companion app.

its great for sound, but the mics pretty rubbish if you're planning online gaming in a party with it

As lucky owner i can say that they ok. Build quality is not the greatest but also it's not bad. However if you are clumsy person and like to fold your headphones and use half of your power to do so should look somewhere else  Sound quality it's good enough plus surround option... For this price i don't think you can get better ones

Having fully tested it every way I can (PS4/Vita/xbox1/PC/iPad) I can tell you it is definitely worth every penny of what I spent.. sounds great and very easy set up
7 days to die is fantastic.. if anyone is lucky enough to get a copy for a 10er like I did you will not be disappointed! :0 if I'd bought it retail I would still have been pleased..

Top headset. Love it. Use it for gaming and Netflix etc. I'd grab another one for that price.

Only annoyance for menus that the headset doesn't work wirelessly with PSVR. Otherwise it's great.

I'd still take the HyperX Clouds over these. Most people that have owned both would pick the clouds in terms of sound quality, comfort and mic quality. They aren't wireless though. Currently £58 on Amazon but they typically crop up online for £49.99
Edit: £49.99 from Maplins

That's like comparing a wireless mouse over a wired mouse.. it's not really a fair comparison?

Absolute bargain for the price, they sound great and the surround does make all the difference when gaming, you really can hear when somebody is sneaking up behind you. Also sound pretty decent just when watching a film. We paid top whack, £70, and even for that I was impressed.

Seen the headset at this price the other day @ burnden park - but was only one on the shelf at the time.
There's an Asda @ breightmet? :stuck_out_tongue:
Heat added purely for this fact lol - the rest was a bonus.

Mic is spot on for me. Everyone says I come through crystal clear. Most other reviews say the same. Could be your connection or unit.

You use the lead you get to plug the headphones into a Vita to do the same with your Xbone controller.
