Get the Innr gu10's from Amazon, they work great with a hue set up and "only" £15 per bulb!

No club card needed for this, just input the code and order.
You can buy an adapter. Ikea are pretty cheap if you have a store near.

Maybe I'm not getting it but to me it's another electrical item to run all day which offers something you don't really need. I love gadgets though and the devil on my shoulder disagrees.

I thought that originally but after buying an echo before Christmas I thought I'd give it a go. I'm hooked now! I've set up OpenHAB on a spare Raspberry Pi and using the Hue emulator built in I've connected all my smart home appliances.
Also it's very handy when you're out as you can set it up to look like someone is home.
