Bought this on the Amazon deal the other week. Great. Two useful additions. 1. The hue dimmer and 2. IConnectHue app. The dimmer along with that app can be set up in so many ways. E.g. A different colour for 5 clicks of the on switch. Hold and you've got another 5 options. Control more than 1 light with the dimmer. Also great that you don't have to use your smartphone to control the lights.

£125 for 3 bulbs.. really?

Every time these come up, it always strikes me as a masterful example of marketing. Add the words "smart", "hue" and "colour" and I seriously consider spending 20 times what I would otherwise consider a reasonable price for lightbulbs.

What is it with the Dutch and their penchant for coloured lighting. This is what you get for having your headquarters in Amsterdam.

Anyone questioning the price for "lightbulbs" needs to properly see these in action. One of the best purchases I've probably made.

should not really be listed as a hot deal as the "deal" does not materialise as expected in xx days is not reached.

I ordered from them before Christmas and they had 47 due in...I cancelled it two weeks later and bought them from Amazon. some people had already been waiting 2 weeks when I bought them, so I would probably email them to check.

Can someone kindly explain what the attraction is to these lights, please? I'm looking at 3 different coloured light bulbs for £125, what do they do that justify the price tag?

You can adjust the colour of them, and can integrate/control them with a variety of different things.

I ordered like a week ago and got shipping notification today now that they are in, so if you order you should get them soon

I order also on Dec 4th and still waiting Stock reports right now again as 34 due in 5-7 days. It keeps changing but never for the better!

Surely it's only possible to get an opinion on whether these bulbs are worth it, from someone who actually owns them, and has used them, rather than someone who doesn't own them, and hasn't used them, but thinks they are too expensive?
Sounds obvious I know, but #justsayin

Went into Maplins Brighton yesterday and they had stock, not sure how much stock though but they price matched BT. This is my first experience of smart lighting and I have to admit I'm very impressed !!!, even the wife only had positive comments !.
