I'm starting to think B&M's aren't national I'm still more likely to see Elvis riding a unicorn in a field of 4 leaf clovers than drive past a B&M.

painfully slow, had to upgrade mine as it was averaging 2mb/s transfer speed. be OK if it was just as a backup stick mind but for a regular use I'd look elsewhere.
No, it's obvious you have never heard of such a device so you've put your foot in your mouth somewhat.

Is there something in the HUKD forum rules that state that deals can only be posted if it's possible to get it whilst sat on your backside instead of heading out to the shops like we all used to?
No. Thought not.

Please explain then how a USB stick which draws such low power could destroy a pc?
Frankly if your pc is capable of being brought down by using a USB stick then it's probably a PoS pc.
But I'm still curious nonetheless since I've never heard of anything so ludicrous.

The posts above claiming that the Philips USB drive killed their PCs were obviously joke posts.
On a broader level, though, USB Killers do exist - they kill computers. How they work is explained in this YouTube video from a highly reputable tech channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y37-PfXZujM

It's £5 for a USB 3 stick on the web. Why not pay £5 more for something that is 10x faster? Ice cold.
preecey to grimboj2
6 Jan 17#64
But that £5 would get you 80GB of slow storage compared to 16GB of faster storage.
Yes, USB 3.0 is significantly faster, but these would be very suitable for those who want lots of dirt cheap storage and don't write data to them often. People who want to use them to store their MP3s and plug them into their car's entertainment system, for example.

Anybody found a Texet Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse for 99p, I was in B&M Coulby Newham yesterday the shelf was marked but no stock, I did get a Twerking Santa that was marked at £12.99 but had a sticker saying £10 does not dance, then under that on the shelf it said £1 so I bought took it apart the drive belt had come off the motor now he shakes his little booty all the time.
I think this deal has finished now, checked again yesterday in my local store and they are not listed on the shelf anymore, just the 32GB versions for £7.99
