This is a very good price for a 40" led 4K HD tv. I also used the code "cpe30" which brought the price to £388, which makes this the cheapest price that I've seen for this award-winning tv!

TBH I bought an amazon fire tv 4k (got £20 off the £64.99 list price but had to register and go through credit check but took no more than 5-10mins from start to completing the purchase) and that's connected to the tv.

You can now get this TV even cheaper for £379 at AO.com if you apply the "GET30" discount code BUT the code is only valid until tomorrow (8th Jan). Delivery is free.

Isn't delivery £4.99? If so needs adding to the price.

Hey. This is a good TV but seeing you were looking at a Sammy 6020, you could get a model up UE40Ku6400 for just under 400 from coop electricals as well with discount code.
All be it not a long warranty, but your statutory rights shouldn't be affected the way law is.
Voted hot for this deal though.

It's for my folks so the interface will be easier for them to deal with, especially the freeview play feature. Plus it's a well respected tv from reviewers/consumers alike. I'm not too sure what it's like for gaming wasn't required. If I was buying for myself (which includes gaming) then I would have gone for a Samsung. ideally the UE40KU6020, however sadly it doesn't seem to be in stock for high street retailers. around £380 now but was £300 in black Friday deal and earned a lot of high praise from hotukdealers who purchased at time for gaming. good luck with your search.

After several weeks of research, this is the TV I'm going for as suits my requirements. I'm ordering through John Lewis @ £419 though as you get the 5 year guarantee with free delivery. I believe JL won't price match as the above aren't a high street store and guessing likewise with RS. All comes down to whether you are interested in the guarantee or the lower figure...

What made you choose this TV if you don't mind me asking? Will you be gaming on it?

Can you confirm whether Richer Sounds will match the £388 price that coop electricals are selling it for with the use of the code? Also, on the richer sounds website it appears that the offer is only available to in-store customers so I'm guessing that the coops deal is better if you can't buy this tv for £419 from the richer sounds website? Then again, 6 years guarantee is also pretty awesome.
