Bought the exact model and lasted just a tad over a year. It began to spark up. Would not recommend at all.

I don't know who now runs Panasonic, but I used to swear by that name knowing it would be quality. Now some of the TVs are made by a cheapie make in Turkey and most of their other items (If not ALL) are not made in Japan anymore with the big reduction in build quality that usually follows. I mainly buy Sony now and that too is going down the same route, just slower than freefall Panasonic

Had a similar Panasonic without grill function. The touch selector buttons became very un-responsive and then stopped working altogether after a year.

They don't make them like they used to, had a Samsung microwave (bought for £50 in mid 90s) that lasted nearly 20 years before it finally failed, I'd be surprised if this Panny lasted more than 5 years.
Just buy the cheapest £30-40 microwave you can find, doubt there is much difference in quality.

bought this one last year from JL
when reheating, food in the middle of the plate is always cold, so needs an extra minute or two.

Had this microwave except without grill. Worked ok for over a year - until button to open door failed. Took it apart to find plastic bracket that the door levers worked off was absolute piece of sh**e. All the pegs on it which have to do a job literally falling away in your hands. Totally inferior garbage - for which Panasonic should be ashamed to put their name to.

Have the older version of this for 8 or 9 years now. Other than the internal bulb going it has been nothing short of excellent.

Sadly don't think Panasonic microwave's are the best of quality nowadays, probably find 'made in china' on the back and just made by a chinese firm and styled like a panasonic. Like a lot of Panasonic products nowadays. Sort of product you need to see in the flesh to see build quality and check reviews to see other's people's experiences rather than buy on brand alone. My mother has a recent Sharp model and is superb although not quite as powerful as you would expect but its large capacity combi oven, build quality is excellent.

My experience had been great with pannies... Bought a very. Similar looking one about 10 years ago and only now it's Megatron (or whatever it is that generates the microwaves) takes 30-40 seconds to warm up before burning up all the nutrients in whatever food I'm trying to disrespect...

We bought a higher model and it leaked badly. It interfered with our wireless as well, despite being in.a different room. would never buy another panny microwave.
