Picked up rather to many bottles of this very nice Gin today across 3 local stores (Belfast) at a great price - gotta think this is national.
Hope others can find it reduced to clear in medium size store.

"How do these get voted hot? Are they a "hot deal" for everyone - or just the OP. Yeah, well done, you bagged a bargain - but this site should be for sharing "
Heat to OP. So nice to see deals that are in Northern Ireland. I don't complain or whine when I have to wade through all the deals at Aldi, Waitrose, Ocado, Wilkos, Herons or Farmfoods because none of these are available in Northern Ireland.

Apologies OP. Now't personal and maybe I picked a wrong thread for the rant!!! But maybe the Mods could put a separate option for "in store" deals as they are so specific. Hope you enjoyed your deal! And apologies again. HDUK is a great place that costs me WAY TOOOOO MUCH money!!!

Will also add . . .
Bloom @ £14.15 . . . this is a silly price if you can find it reduced.
Hendricks @ £14.
Jim Beam Double Oak @ £12
Crested Ten (now discontinued and fetching Premium prices) for £15.
Dewars 12 for £11
Glenfiddich IPA for £12
Whitley Neill Gin for £13
Plus a few other Randoms . . . .
This clearance will vary store to store at the managers discretion . . but its worth keeping an eye out.
I am sure everyone already knows . . if there is a little star or asterisk on a shelf edge label (sel) then that means this store is gonna be clearing this item . . . useful for keeping an eye on stock. n

Most of these were reduced in my local today, spent far too much on gin! I suspect it is national just up to each manager when to reduce.

Got another Bloom plus a few more Opihr tonight in one of my locals but my Larger Extra store has no reductions, if your Vodka deal was for the Belvedere Vodka then its certainly a good buy at £18.

Did you get the Hendricks for less than £27? Never seems to go below that bit might just take the hit and get some.
But the Opihr is now one of my favourites with the lovely after taste.

How to make a grown man cry.
Bloom still £24 in my local. The only bargain they had was a Vodka the name escapes me at the minute, was £38 down to £19. Nothing else. Drats!!

Tastes a bit like BO with tonic or a simple mixer in my opinion. Couldn't quite find a cocktail it worked in either. Voted hot though because right now, I don't know of a better price for this product - and that's how voting on this site should work!

These "deals" are less obnoxious than they used to be, because at least now I can use Tesco Self Scanning to easily check my local prices during my regular shop, so absolutely worth giving people a heads-up.

Until recently we only got the Castlegy Gin in Lidl which is quite basic . . .
But recently here in Northern Ireland they have introduced Rabbit Island Gin at £15.99 and it is absolutely Fantastic, in my opinion as good as Hendricks.

How do these get voted hot? Are they a "hot deal" for everyone - or just the OP. Yeah, well done, you bagged a bargain - but this site should be for sharing deals with other HDUK members rather than a bragging site. Saying "may be national" doesn't help. My missus got a £10 turkey crown from M&S yesterday for 50p. Great deal for me - but no use to anyone else really so I'm not throwing it out on to HDUK so that everyone can congratulate me on my bargain.

This post is simply a "Heads Up" post - meant to alert people that these deals are out there and to keep an eye out if they are interested. Back in the day we used newsgroups and communication of clearances were slow to spread which is why this site was set up - just a heads up post.

These sort of deals are never national, they're store specific clearances of items that haven't sold well that are being cleared to make space for new lines. It's absolute pot luck what may or may not be reduced to clear, and the prices very often differ depending on store.

It because there have been about a dozen posts like this and it's store specific. I have been in 4 Tesco in the last 48 hours and they all have random booze reduced so most people won't get the deal you posted. I have done ok a got a random selection of gin whiskey and rum half price.
