Seems like an excellent price. Hard to find stock anywhere now but it used to retail around £300 not long ago.
User reviews seem positive (4.6* on Richer Sounds and 4.3* on Superfi), some positive user reviews on avforums too.
Update: Looking at the business address, Hyperworld is the eBay shop of Hyperfi.

Not sure these are worth it without a subwoofer. Good for small spaces I guess?

I've read a lot of reviews for this. Apparently the bass is thumping, most people recommend turning down the default setting for that reason.

No HDMI ARC. :disappointed:

HDMI ARC has always been a pain in the butt for me anyway! I've used it on different TVs, soundbars and surround speaker setups and often have to settle for out of sync video and audio, even if only slightly. I'd rather stick with digital optical personally.

My old chap has the canton , brilliant piece of kit , I wanted one but could not stretch to it, but found this http://homeavdirect.co.uk/denon-dht-110 which compared favourably and half the price, had it 2 weeks and love it..and connects nicely with my echo dot.
In head to head the canton pips it as it has better base , but I am not a base fan so suits me
I would recommend these. I have one for sale on eBay at the moment. Just over a year old. I only replaced as my new TV came in a bundle with a sound bar, subwoofer and rear surround speakers.
Sound quality is very good. There is a bout in subwoofer which does its job. Ideal for those who don't want wires everywhere for surround sound (the main reason why I bought it).

What are the supposed benefits? Is it just volume control?
