The difference is unscrupulously taking advantage of demand rather than running a fair business. As a retail business Amazon is a reseller, CEX is a scalper. Up to you what you do, but if you are buying as much stock as you can of high demand items to then overcharge those who weren't as sharp at buying then you are a scalp.

No, you just don't seem to have a clue between the difference that means reselling and scalping.

Yep. During the launch and they went for as high as £80 if not even more.

Yep, I sold mine on ebay for £125! People are stupid!

Which kind of reminds me... The NES Mini is currently sitting at around £115 now. Shame really, that £85-odd profit was kind of nice whilst it lasted.

The clerk from Smyths told me that the Mini NES should be back in stock sometime this month.

It's the same thing. What about amazon themselves, they make buy and item for x and sell for y and end up with a profit. how disgusting!!!! You need to learn capitalism, call me a scalper all you wish, im richer than you.

It's a bold claim to make.

To be fair, CeX is a pawnshop. Which is an equally unethical way to make money.
But what do I know, I'm just a humble NHS employee

Well, yes, that's true but CeX doesn't always scalp the prices of their products just the ones they see the value rising.
The difference between a reseller and a scalper is that a reseller doesn't overcharge for a product whereas a scalper does. I resell stuff on eBay and could scalp it but I don't.

Thanks OP - picked one of these up for when the GameCube finally gives up the ghost, might be useful for emulation - love the GameCube controller design.

I resell at what the market considers a fair price.
No. Besides, you look very desperate to be proven 'right' that you're a 'reseller' and not a scalper. Whatever makes you happy, xboxplaystationnintendoatarisegaman.

mind when the scalpers had these as £100+ on ebay lol.

The part they didn't expect (or should have) is for it to receive a reprint and they kept it or sold it at a loss. Nintendo Switch will surely suffer low print at start as it's tradition with Nintendo.

Do you know the laws of demand and supply? I buy when I can and I sell at a price, if you or anyone else does not want to buy then simply DO NOT the world will keep on turning.

OP you may want to change the title youve labeled it as gamecube adaptor for wii U not gamecube controller adaptor for wii, i thought it was a device to connect a gamecube to the wii.

It is for the Wii U, the original Wii have Gamecube controller ports built in..

Got one of these Spasho; thanks for the heads up.
Don't really need one for my Wii U as I just play SMM on that, but I'm speculating on compatibility with the Switch, and for £12 it's no loss if it doesn't work.
