Unlike the one from 365Games they said to be dispatched days before release whereas 365Games will dispatch it ON the day of release now can't have that just for under a quid i'd rather have it day and date or day before.

I just played the demo of this, it was pretty damn good. Altough I died way too many times, if this game doesn't have an easier mode then I'll just wait for a price drop

Lol I can tell people who suck at playing this game doubt you unlocked weapon skill, unlocked magic and stuff such as ninjistu's mastered all the skills etc if you suck at Ninja Gaiden you'll suck at this too

I've Pre-ordered Resident Evil 7 from Simply Games and I'm still waiting for it to be dispatched!!! Looks like I will be getting it on the day of release. I wish I had stuck with my pre-order from Base as I know they post the games out a few days before. I've had a few pre-orders from Base and always had them at least a day before release. I won't be using Simply Games for anymore Pre-orders!!!

Don't be so hasty my friend. I know from experience, SimplyGames send out the stock as soon as they get it. If it's not been dispatched yet, they've not received the stock. I know for a fact Game stores haven't received there's yet, and they sometimes get stock a fortnight before release on certain titles. Rest assured, if SimplyGames haven't got it yet, neither will Base have.

Yep spoilt it for me. Combat is awful. Really really bad. Roach was a directionally challenged nag. Everyone in the game just wanted to talk and prattle on for ages. I enjoyed the game but don't rave on it like others do.

Playing Nioh demo now, it's ok, not sure about controls tho, feels like they have over complicated it....

If the gameplay wasn't so hideously clunky I would agree with you the storytelling and RPG elements of the game are sublime.

It's not bad, but it just makes me want to play souls. I'll probably pick it up when it's sub £20
Sony are killing it on exclusive content for 2017. this looks like a great game.
with Scaleboubd now dead I have no planned Xbox purchases for the coming year :disappointed:

Playing through now on the Xbox one. can't wait for cyberpunk 2077 and I like their attitude towards sjws and dlc. They rock basically.

And you sir, are in a very good position to say that after playing early builds of the game and being satisfied. I searched a few more videos on this game and it does look amazing and the gameplay looks like a lot of fun too!
Still, I need to tell people to NOT pre order 95% of games out there, you will eventually get disappointed and developers will get more greedy with pushing out incomplete products since the sales money is already in. This goes double for companies with shady practices like not giving out review copies, not showing gameplay footage (mass effect 4 comes to mind) or the game seems to promise way too much. There is nothing to gain from preordering a game besides giving the developer a blind vote of confidence

Yeah I understand your concerns which could apply to any game but I feel what you said doesn't really apply to this game and of course the same mindset shouldn't be used against every single game now just because of a few gaming mishaps

You missed my point, I didn't say the games are related to Nioh, simply that people should not pre order or they will risk getting nasty surprises. And NML isn't really an indie game, it got published by Sony who shamefully had to publicly apologize.
I had no idea about Nioh so yea your post made me happy, can't wait to play it! I still have Bloodborne to beat though so by the time I finish hopefully there wil be a price drop on this

Eh even though I really want this to be a good game as I'm full into Japanese games and hope there are more Japanese games coming in, I definitely advise on buying any new IPs unless significantly cheaper or by a 100% trustworthy developer (pretty much only Rockstar and Naughty Dog).
Just wait for the game to come out people, don't give out your money without actually getting the product. It will just set you up for disappointment (like what happened with Mighty n9 and No mans lie) Not to mention that nowadays games drop prices insanely fast. In December, The Last Guardian dropped from £45 to £25 in less than 3 weeks
A question for the OP tho. How to play alpha and beta versions of games? I wanna try Persona5, Horizon and Red Dead 2

Doubt the game will drop in price anywhere near as fast as TLG. However, it's a niche title that probably won't set the world alight in terms of sales.
The alpha & beta tests for this game took part last year and where open to everyone for a few weeks.

I'd like to add CD Projekt Red to that list.

Koei Techmo/Team Ninja released Alpha and Beta of this game before time limited it's no longer available now.
The Beta especially that was massive didn't expect them to let us play that much it shows the devs have confidence in their product. This game is really polished and quality as expected by the devs of Ninja Gaiden.
Sorry but No man's sky and Mighty no 9 is hardly any related to Nioh at all, those two indie games (mighty no 9 kick-started funded) against this AAA game.
And also The Last Guardian is like those really short games with not much audience but mainly made for the fans again this does not relate to Nioh at all. Nioh is aimed at more at the hardcore gamers, the Souls gamers and fast action gamers and also a MUCH bigger game with much more content. This game felt like Ninja Gaiden + Souls + Onimusha for me I played about more than a 100 games on PS4 since I bought it and Nioh's beta alone was damn impressive for me I will support this masterpiece

The Witcher 3 easily cemented their place as one of the best. I'd personally put them above Rockstar in that list. It's a shame that list is so small, I miss buying games on release.

YES! The Witcher 3 is THE best game on the PS4 and one of the best games of all time. And they are a Polish studio with less than half the resources that Rockstar has... who knows wtf they will be able to do with the huge fund injection of millions of dollars that they got from the Polish government

I read that Sony are publishing, really wish they would market it more heavily, can't say I've noticed much but it may just be me. Hopefully it may be a sleeper hit, the alpha and beta were great. Story also looks interesting.

I was talking about Nioh being a niche title as well, but one that should appeal to the Souls/Ninja Gaiden audience.
Yakuza 0 is essentially a two year old game, so it doesn't look great visually, but is 60fps. It's supposedly the best in the series and a great starting point for newcomers. Definitely worth the purchase.

That's my point, I don't think it can be more niche than TLG. I will buy this game when it goes below £25 if it gets positive reviews. Wanted to get Yakuza but it looks pretty low effort and outdated mechanics

Looks good but I am going to wait for a few videos . Love all dark souls games and this looks similar but playing the first demo felt like they kinda missed the dark souls point and just made it overly difficult instead of achievable and rewarding like ds. Love the idea of being able to see the enemy's stamina meter tho , gives a lot more tactics

I actually thought it was made too easy in the second demo, though that might just be my experience of the first demo. Doing a level 1 run in the demo was so much fun and can't wait to do a wooden sword playthrough for the whole game.
