Work together with your friends or compete for the crown in the first multiplayer 3D Mario game for the Wii U console. In the Super Mario 3D World game, players can choose to play as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach or Toad.

Each character has unique abilities and play styles. For example, Princess Peach glides over gaps, while Luigi has his trademark extra-high jump.
The new cat transformation allows players to run on all fours, pounce on enemies, attack in midair or use their claws to scamper up walls and goal poles.
Explore colorful 3D environments filled with obstacles and contraptions like transparent pipes and vertical conveyor belts, which add new puzzle elements.
Use the Wii U GamePad controller’s touch screen to search for hidden blocks and to freeze enemies in place.

Seriously, SM3DW for less than £15...flame on! Arguably my favourite game this gen (thus far). I say 'thus far' only because I have Zelda ABOTW pre-ordered for my WiiU.

Just 5 must have games? That's harsh on the Wii U, even the non Nintendo playing Wii U bashers normally say 10 :smiley: There is probably even 5 must have Wii U games with Mario in them for many peoples lists, Super Smash Bros, Mario 3D, Mario Kart 8, Mario Maker, New Super Mario Bros U.

Windwaker HD, Bayonetta 2, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8 and Pikmin 3. I bought my Wii-U back in 2014 and this was my experience. Breath of the Wild will make it 6 games that were worth playing. No regrets.
Splatoon, Wonderful 101, Star Fox and Donkey Kong might get added to the list but i fear i will never get round to playing them or may never take the risk.

Splatoon is really good, haven't tried donkey Kong or Star fox but they look ok. I like Nintendo but I think they could be finished with consoles after the switch. The console looks great , doesn't bother me that it's underpowered compared to the competition. Zelda looks amazing IMO. But I think they have a cheek charging full whack for Mario kart again. Anyone that has a Wii u has already played it to death . And the accessory prices are extertionate. Why can't they hire more people to create some new material, instead of the same old games with a new like of paint
