The SharewareOnSale website is highly respected and I have used it for some considerable time with not a single problem. As indicated earlier, if you are totally paranoid then use disposable/fake details.
As for the spoonfed poultry, surely you check and research any software you download anyway. I can't imagine for one nanosecond that anyone would blindly install any software.
SharewareOnSale is a great resource for some great software. I do receive emails from them but they are far from OTT and, on the contrary, are usually tremendously useful.

I know this isn't the full blown Nero (I have 2012 and 2016) and I dunno why I updated to 2016. It does nothing the freebies doesn't do, won't record or copy ANYTHING "protected" while several freebies do, is bloated beyond belief with ridiculous amount of protection for itself and copyrights - and Ive had more coasters with Nero than any other writing prog - frankly rarely use anything Nero these days Right now Ive got that off my chest, there used to be a Nero "lite" too, like Ashampoo do.If you want Nero free may be worth checking out afterdawn.com/sof…cfm

Can anyone please advice me if this could let me play blu-ray on my laptop. After updating to windows 10 my laptops blu-ray drive is not playing or recognising the discs. Instead asking me buy a new software again. Thanking You in advance.

W10 did not generally include (or provide support for) Windows Media Centre and/or blu-ray support and that may be your problem.
You could try downloading VLC (a free open source player) to see if it fixes your problem...
Thank You so much... Genuinely appreciate your help. I tried and all drivers are updated. Downloaded VLC but unfortunately seems like unable to play blu-ray discs.

Just out of interest check that it is the latest version of VLC and then take a look at this...
I recently came across leawo.com blu-ray player. Was very dubious about it but it seems to play all the discs I throw at it. Only downside I've found is that it displays 3D films in 2D as they don't have that function yet, but it's free, and can play the latest star-wars movie, which my Totalmedia 6 can't.
