Posted previously at £209 but now £20 cheaper. Great phone with excellent reviews. Price is the same price as the 16GB models on Amazon. You can also build your own on the Motorola site. Lots of snazzy colours and variations. You can have it engraved and have a personalised message also.
You need to use various codes. I used :-
UKWINTER1
UKWELCOME10
KENSMOTO
Theres also UKWINTER2, UKWINTER.
Jut swap them around to get the prices down to £189 and £79.01 respectfully.
OK some will grumble about lousey Motorola suppport but pay wit Paypal or Visa if your at all worried.

Both go out of stock very quickly but then come back in stock after a few days. Think I got the Moto G4 Plus 4/64GB down to £229 with codes but decided to go for the 2/32GB as budgets are tight lol.I went for a bland silver colour scheme with the plus but on reflection I should have made it more snazzy.

Yes! Ive had horrendous problems with ghost touch - my G4 has been sitting in a drawer for months, completely unusable. I've been banging my head against a brick wall to try and get a refund from Motorola. Am putting in a Section 75 claim with Barclaycard for a refund.

I got the 4GB / 64GB before Xmas with similar codes.
Very happy with it so far, the one thing I feel is lacking is a compass.

Yep, that's about the only negative I've found, I've had the dual SIM G4Plus since mid summer and it's been a pretty decent phone and both SIMs are 3G at the same time (or 3G and 4G on each respective sim) so ideal for Three network users.
Lack of compass only really a problem if walking around a town/city and trying to use Google maps..it is VERY annoying if you want a satnav for walking in a city...... for driving it causes no problems.
G4Plus comes with Turbocharger included as well.

Basic G4 only managed to get £10 off no matter what I did. Anyone fare any better ?. The Play version has the best discount and strangely has NFC a glaring omission on the G4 and G4 Plus

I don't find NFC a big deal, as I am not a fan of proximity contactless payments. To me the compass is the biggest omission.

Yes, driving not an issue, and I have been using Waze a lot recently and really like it.
64GB is plenty of space , although for some strange reason I felt compelled to by a 64GB microSD card from Tesco last week :stuck_out_tongue:
The turbo charger was certainly a big reason for going for the Plus, and I am finding the fingerprint unlock really handy too.
Dual SIM was a bonus I am glad for, but not a must have for me. Having said that, it will be really handy putting a Three SIM in for holidays.

Some of the standard G4 32gb models must come with the turbo charger. My partner got a double sim model in white direct from Motorola which came with one in the box.

WRONG if you use Paypal. With Paypal, you just gave up your Section 75 rights to hold the Credit Company jointly liable for any problems.

I also find it absolutely strange that people think Paypal is good. I've detailed on this forum before how many ugly experiences i've had with Paypal. Paypal is the devil as far as i'm concerned. But it is, however, undeniably "easy" and people will always go for the easy method. But do not expect Paypal to back you up or help you in any way, shape or form. Paypal wants to make profit and that's it. It doesn't want to be a mediator. When it acts as one, it's terrible.

Yes, I had a bad experience a few years ago when I got scammed on ebay. Paid £600 via Paypal for a laptop that never arrived and they wouldn't give me my money back. Then found out that the s75 protection didn't apply because introducing Paypal into the deal created a third party and the transaction has to be between two parties for s75 to apply. Fortunately my credit card company that I used to pay via Paypal were sympathetic and done a chargeback so I got my money back, but I will never be caught out like that again.
Simple solution is use Paypal only if the transaction is under £100.

I stopped selling on ebay as even if you put *no returns* on your item for sale, there's nothing stopping the buyer raising a paypal dispute weeks after the purchase. someone tried it with a moto G 1st gen I sold when it was released saying its stopped working after a month and they took it to a private repair etc... managed to reply with how they voided the warranty so its not my problem which scared them off from replying and the dispute expired. they could have easily escalated and got a full refund if they really tried to.

For anyone who took a punt with this just an update on the "wonderful" Motorola customer support. If you purchase they give you a tracking link which is primitive. I ordered on the 7th Jan and its due for delivery today. After about 5 days link into their online support and ask for a fedex link and fedex tracking number. Thats going to be much more helpful. The operators are all very pleasant but they do need to beef up their delivery service. Guess 10 days is not too bad if you want a completely personalised phone.

Another word of caution. Almost sorry I posted this. Item has been with Customs and Excise since 03.20 this morning. If this results in a whopping great import duty I will let you know so be cautious if thinking to buy.
