On the plus side whilst looking for information about these headphones I found a HUKD appropriate gif I've never seen before (not aimed at this deal particularly).

What? What do those numbers refer to?

Amount available worldwide. Amazon say there were 20k made, everywhere else says only 5k were made
When they come out originally i thought it was only 5k tbh, 20k is just the description on amazon

HXCMARC didn't ask how many were made. He asked if anyone has tried them because he wanted to find out about their quality.

This is a bit of a weird product. Who is it marketed at? Most Megaman fans are 30 years old plus. Are they going to want a probably mediocre pair of headphones with a Megaman colour scheme, which in my opinion is aesthetically more geared towards kids than adults?

As much as I am an immature adult and would probably find enjoyment in flashing lights for at least a while, it's not exactly a feature that appeals to adults. It's exactly like those trainers with the clear flashing light soles that cool kids had in the 90's.

Looks expensive on the face of it, but decent headphones are pricey these days, even in the supermarkets they are rarely on offer. Seeing this is a Limited Edition good character theme, and something different, I must add HEAT.

I cant believe Capcom created them from scratch for this price so there must be a tarted up version of another brand/model. If you could find out which one, you'd have an answer as regards to sound quality/value. Removable headphone cable though so kudos for that.

These headphones are licensed by a company called EMiO, who sell video game related products. Their product catalogue is diverse so there is no way they are responsible for the manufacture of any of it. These are no doubt manufactured by a generic Chinese company on a budget, with the most important feature being how they look. If that's all that is important to a purchaser then these will be great. However if how they function is important then these will be bad and a product from an established specialist audio manufacturer would be a much better purchase.
These will go great with my PSVR :stuck_out_tongue:

When I found the gif, the comment was referring to the RRP of $100. At £37.90 or whatever these eventually fall to, it is the cheapest price these have ever been and it is generally okay if your main priority is the appearance. Memorabilia is worth a lot to some people. However from an audio perspective, and they are headphones after all, I very much doubt they are worth that price.

I did look for a decent review but there isn't one. https://mastergeeksph.wordpress.com/2016/02/18/review-megaman-limited-edition-hd-led-headphones/ is the best I could do but there's no audio analysis, the review just says they're plastick-y, have questionable build quality and don't include all the stated accessories.
These will go great with my PSVR :stuck_out_tongue:
