Doesn't like my SichboPVR TV recording .ts files. :disappointed: they play just fine, with VLC

CCCP is free and probably still better than that paid software.

It just turned my xbox one off. It turned it physically off! This was while it was "organising" what media it could view. Awful app. No wonder it's free :disappointed:

I was hoping this would play my Phantom 4 footage on the One S - sadly, it just shows a green screen, like the Microsoft media player. Oh well :disappointed:

Rubbish App for Xbox One..... You cant even connect to your own home Media server. At least with the built-in Media player app for Xbox one, it looks for your local Media server, this one, couldn't find an option for doing that :disappointed:

Whoa...nice one! This plays .wtv files...and unlike VLC, which doesn't select the correct audio stream by default, this app actually works properly. There are likely features/formats VLC will handle better, but first impressions of this app on Win 10 are mostly positive. Bit weird there no actual STOP button when you're playing media, but pretty darned decent for free.

Maybe try reinstalling it. VLC is super lightweight (>30mb) and should open pretty much instantly even on low end machines.

Personally I use Plex. It's free and gives you access to all your media. I use it to stream my video collection from computer to xbox.

Thanks for the post. As a lot of other people I tend to prefer VLC but as this is free I might as well give this a try
P.S. Please tell me £23.19 is a typo! Otherwise that is completely bonkers!

For some reason, I'm seeing the price in dollars - $34.89 :stuck_out_tongue: For a media player oO Of course, that may have been bumped just to make the promo look good, wonder what it will be later :face_with_monocle:

Is there a complete app list for XBOX in the Xbox store or somewhere on a website? Apps such as this only come up when you search by name. Must be all sorts of other interesting apps that go unnoticed.
