Wait, people still pre-order after No Mans Sky? Each to their own I guess.

Never pre-order.

Or you could just wait for reviews!
100% agree. £40 for a pre-order isn't exactly a steal either.
I don't want to sound like a complete **** but do console owners still think pre-ordering is a good idea?
Why not just wait another month for the reviews to come in, oh...and for the price to drop...and for the patches...and the inevitable dlc.

Just getting it for the 4 player co op, as I played that more than the ME3 campaign.

you're breaking one of the gaming commandments... Thou shalt not pre-order games and over hype. remember Sim City, No Man's Sky etc.
Let it come out and enjoy it for what it is. If we over build it, even a good game that you can get a good amount of hours of enjoyment from (NMS) will disappoint.

yes, you could say that.

Ah, so just another hater with no valid reasons. Like we didn't have enough of those already.

Couple of games creeping over £40 again leading to deals at just below that mark. Personally I'd hold out until I see more or hope for some £35-36 deals that may pop up closer to release

This game is going to flop. Shame really.

What makes you say that? Im looking forward to it... But wont pay full price. 90% of games drop in price 1 month after release these days no matter how good...

Nonsense, they did and still do.
They don't offer refunds on any game played for more than 2 hours/ owned for more than 2 weeks.

Wrong on the refund. Valve refused to give Steam refunds.

Isn't that a pretty bad example? The game looked crap, had loads of doubt going in and everyone who wanted one, got a full refund.

If people aren't bright enough to learn such a simple lesson then they deserve to be ripped off with terrible games, only problem is, they lower standards for the rest of us.
I have to say as a huge ME fan, what I've seen of Andromeda looks bad, weak voice acting, badly animated characters and then there is Bioware's recent penchant for ruining stories by weirdly injecting out of place social justice issues were they don't naturally fit.
I'm going to wait for some reviews with all the sensible people.

Very true  No good region deals on the digital version anyway!

Far too many games are marketed as Awesome but ultimately turn out sh*t for one reason or another. Physical disc every time mate

Got a worrying feeling about this. Loved the other 3 but I don't feel good about this one. Still can't wait to play it but with the 10hr ea access trial it's been the swaying factor for platform choice for me. To go physical or digital...

Always physical... if its pants sell it and get most your money back... if its great play it asap - complete it - and get half your money back... then buy back a year later when you want to play again a lot cheaper
Or pay more (£50?) for the privilege of downloading it and getting nothing back if its a terrible game!
Shopto has that pre-order bonus listed on their site but TheGameCollection doesn't so I have no idea if they are doing it

do you think I will need to have played the trilogy to understand this?

i think the entire crew are sent away from the milky way galaxy to explore a whole new galaxy so nothing will directly tie in. the fact that no remasters came out to log past actions suggests there wont be any links either
