They look like good speakers and with 500w but i only need 2.1 so ordered the Logitech Z623 + Logitech K400 Plus for £105.90. I know the Z623 is £130.29 now and was around £97 in December but its 'Temporarily out of stock' so if it reduces and the offer is still running then might ask for price match or reorder. So think of the Z623 still £97 and K400+ being £8.90.
Should I get the 906 over the new bose 300 soundbar? I really like the sound from the bose but previously owned the z5500. If I were to buy the 906 would it be 4k compatible or would I need to connect by optical?

Yep!..lots of wires, had an X-540 couple of years ago but mine was for PC use. The X-540 satellites was about 45W in total whereas these seem to be 67W per channel for each so quite a big improvement. Would love hear how they sound now. As for the THX certification ....well a little research will be useful before buying into all that :wink:

Yes you can turn the subwoofer up and down. You can also control the front, rears and the centre.

In before someone says the Z906 aren't worth it - they are, they're fantastic. I opted for them over a huge amp etc. sitting in my TV and I don't need to go through any HDMI handshaking. Instead I get great, and instant, 5.1 THX-certified surround with multiple inputs.
If you need surround sound this is an absolute steal. Note that I paid more for mine, too.

This is a proper 5.1 sound system, something which soundbars can never be due to their single unit construction.
However, regarding the deal it, says you need to buy 2 units to get the 30% discount.
For this reason, I have not voted.
