NT Live cinema tickets can cost up to £20 per person, but with a 'tastecard+' trial (£1 for 3 months / £0 for Unidays) you can then buy a cinema ticket code online for up to 40% off.
In my case, I bought a pair of Cineworld tickets for £6.45 each from the 'tastecard+' cinema website. You must purchase two vouchers each time! Then paid 50p per ticket on the Cineworld booking page to reserve seats.
So, £1 'tastecard+' trial + two £6.45 ticket + two 50p booking fees = £14.90 for a pair of tickets (£7.45 each).

I get tastecard through my bank account so can't have plus for free. Great deal for those who have. Hot

Terrific deal. I was surprised it was valid for NT Live showings but just booked for Amadeus and Saint Joan saving about £20 in my first booking. Thanks!

I was surprised too, but I had noticed in the past that Cineworld just categorises their e-tickets as 2D or 3D, so there may well be other premium types of screenings that work with this that I haven't seen yet. I booked for Amadeus and Hedda Gabler.

Didn't realise you had to pay an additional £7.99 for plus membership

It's free as part of the trial memberships, which I have stated in the post. For existing members it may still be worth the upgrade given the savings involved for NT Live if you went to see a few screenings.

It's tastecard plus. Not tastecard

Yes, you are correct about that but the Tastecard trial gives you access to Tastecard+.
