Looks like a very good deal. Has anyone ordered from German Amazon before? Will there be any issues with a German version of the laptop? Assume power supply will come with English plug as well as continental 2 prong plug. What are return or repair options to another country?

Keyboard as mentioned is QWERTZ. Warranty with lenovo is great. They will fix faulty laptop without any issue even if bought in Germany.

I've bought from German, French and Spanish Amazon sites recently. No issues other than the EU/UK compatibility issues you expect to come across (wall plug socket/keyboard layout), just be mindful of that and you should be ok.

Those are generic photos, I would never take photos to be a guess!
100% sure this is QWERTZ.
Add it should be to be able to type Ä, Ö, Ü, and ß.
That Amazon is showing a stock photo with an American QWERTY keyboard (note the lack of £ and €) doesn't mean anything.
Wouldn't bother me as QWERTZ is actually useful (more letters is better!), and for 100% touch typists it's easy to change the layout in Windows.

Thanks OP been looking for a while and the SSD included plus the reviews I read on German site combined with the price tipped me over the edge so ordered. Paid in Euros as generally my Post office card offers best euro conversion rate bit miffed had to pay 7 euro delivery as a prime customer, not arriving till next week screen shot images of UK keyboard in case I cant hack it but cant really see it being a problem.

Yes don't use amazon exchange rate believe free delivery is Germany only but as a prime member expected it to be free so may have a discussion later on with amazon about that.
Just double checked in fact will be £476 at todays rate PO use Mastercard Bank rate but no added fees

Very good find. Looking to buy something like this for new work laptop. Was looking at a Dell Inpiron 15-7559 (i7 and 4K screen but way more expensive). May go for this as such a good price. Anyone know how to swap out the keyboard or is a difficult job?
Love deals like this so well done op.

Cheers for the positivity, not sure about keyboard changes but I've swapped keys off HP & Lenovo's before for a laugh at work (yes very juvenile but mildly hilarious, one below vvank vvord bingo at meetings). My Lenovo T430 keys come off easy and click straight back on. Can't vouch for different spec.

I've seen individual keys on ebay for some models, however, there's a lot more involved than that:
So yes, you could swap the Z and Y around, but lots of symbols would be all over the place. Apparently there's Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator which might help but note it says nothing about Win8+ so it's possible that they now need to be signed.
Full UK layout replacement are about £12 from HK but unsure about warranty: business lines like ThinkPads should be okay to swap keyboard, consumer race-to-the-bottom stuff like this? Probably not.
...keyboard layout differences made in software rather than by the hardware being different.
There are some physical differences... but in general if you select the keyboard layout you are used to touch-typing in you won't get any surprising results.
Sounds ok if not I'll learn German, how hard can it be? (Calm down dear - not a serious point & I avoided allo allo references etc) but for this money I'd swap the buttons and nail them on if need be #winning

Arrived today. Sweeeet.
Buttons changed (don't do this if you're ham fisted, mars bar fingered etc its on your own risk). Set keyboard and locale to UK and indeed qwerty touch type layout prevails (shft 3 = £ etc). Quiet, light & I'm happy oh and it flies.
Your choice about changing keyboards or leave as is but I'm happy typing this. I don't speak it but I figured out the initial German setup before changing it in the first 5mins.
Edit Lenovo livechat said 310 doesn't have miracast ... eh yes it does

I believe the same chassis (310 series) with different internals is reviewed on this german site, converted to English http://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-IdeaPad-310-15ISK-Notebook-Review.173924.0.html scan down and you can see the german keyboard, which is what you would expect in Germany?

So I take it you carefully pry off and swap Z&Y ?
Looking online, I've noticed that the QWERTZ keyboard has a much shorter right shift key. This may be a problem for touch-typists.
I've just tried to cancel my order but I think Amazon are going to ship regardless.
Is this causing any problems for anyone?
