Yes it's been cheaper before, including at Asda/George, but it's now out of stock at most stockists, and could prove to be a good investment with the series due to return in the spring.

YES definitely the best price around by quite a margin,resellers may have to hold on to it for a while though still not got the sold out label yet but should be soon,if you want get it now.

It's a really nice set, and it seems Lego's interest in the Doctor Who licence has now ended, meaning it's going to be a bit of a one-off.
Not necessarily so - it just let me go through to payment (although I didn't pay for it).
The George site does this for a while if people add things to their basket but don't pay (I won't do it again - promise!) - can take about 15-20 mins for the stock to show up again.
I'd suggest keeping on trying until the main page says they're sold out. The same thing happened with the Ideas Ecto 1s some months back.
