I'm a HUGE fan of lego but they are starting to take the p with these prices

From what I understand the dots were always different on each batch. So if you can find the blind dots for the particular batch number you're looking at, they should be accurate.

The dots worked on the Disney ones but some are more faded than others, Easier to buy a box for 150 and sell one full set. If you can afford to do that of course
Id rather stick to the myriad of Lego groups than be ripped off by them. It is shocking the mark up they put on them when they've only just been released.

That isn't expensive once you count the cost of your travel and time needed to find the one minifigure you want. Of course it's all down to how much you value your time.

£2.99 isn't really Lego being greedy. It's just bringing into line with existing prices now the £ is worth less (they're about £3.29 in the US).

they will produce a gazillion of these and of course if patient you willget these at a discount when everyone has had their fill

Tried that with the Disney series, sold out in most places before I got the set, had to pay eBay prices for the last few. Won't be taking any chances with the movie just around the corner. If I can gert them for £2.50 I'll be happy with that

My local Tesco had three boxes of Disney minifigures last week and I was hoping they would get reduced . Went back there today and got told one dude bought the whole lot

Retired lego is valuable lego. Minifigures are the most collected lego pieces so yeah. I would buy the whole lot and stick them on ebay also. Make a right profit. Minifigures that relate to a fan base ie Disney. Are going to be more popular too.

You'll be very lucky to get hold Of them when they have been reduced. Any stock left over in stores when lego is retired therefore worth more instantly and then reduced in store is just asking for trouble if you want them.
Oh and yeah. Standing there like a weirdo while feeling a load of little packets is the only sure way to find the ones you want. The dots on the back are so difficult to see on most.

You can get a box from here, although they do charge £199.95 for it
Alternatively, just be cheeky and go into your local stockist and ask for one!

You can probably find full boxes for retail or close to on Bricklink (Euro sellers). Just order a box and split it with a friend or sell the spare sets. The great thing about the Batman box is that you get EXACTLY 3 sets in a box.

None in my local Asda (it's only small), but I did find 11 Series 16 CMFs for a pound each.

Nope, just nice to make an easy buck in something I have as a hobby and helps collectors...Is that all you took from that? By your logic if you own a washing machine are you work shy because you don't wash your clothes by hand.

If you ask asda to order you a full box they will do that for you but you need to talk to the person working on the toy department

I just buy a full box of 60 as soon as a new set comes out. Guaranteed 3 full sets. Keep one and sell the others on. Disney figures didn't hang around long, I don't imagine these will either. Next series out in May.

Find it very strange why some people saying that these new batman mini figures are £2 in the Lego shops when they are £2.99 at Lego.com and every shop I have seen them for sale are £2.99 and the only store I have seen these cheaper is asda which are only £2.50

I always buy a sealed box of mini figures and also I need to buy a full set in packets just to make sure I have a full set

I bought 10 the other day from Argos at £2.99 each (just to get some).
Could not believe it in Asda earlier when the Lady behind the counter said £2 each.
Instantly went back to the toy isle and got more!.
I'm worried that at some point in the future Lego will expect us to pay more than £2.99 for their Mini-figs.
