The male of the species can be raped too, you just went from rape to sexist!
A support worker I knew very well once told me about someone I knew of that when in a charitable alcohol hostel unit where he been staying (he had a mental development age of a young boy/teenager at best & not in all situations) approx 10 men in a dorm had. Poor guy only complained of the physical pain afterwards and admitted being in fear of the situation that they might kill him because of the aggression and cheering each other on, he didn't register what they done was wrong, health professionals said it was possible he enjoyed the experience except the chanting each other on and the aggressive tone as he didnt think it was wrong for them all to do it even when it got sore he thought it was 'normal', they think he was abused in the same way as a child too since it happened. No one was charged as he would not elaborate on facts past the little info the initial support worker got, although they did medically confirm he was aggressively raped after medical examination. He was moved units as he was scared. Ironically over the following years he ended up in shared rooms in substance abuse hostels sharing with some of them guys again - NHS/social services were hopeless in keeping him housed several times with visits several times a week at home to help him stay 'on track' with bills etc etc, which meant booze binges again and homeless again over & over. when he could not cope he drunk, spiral after spiral.
Horrendous. A real nice person despite his auditory processing problems and 'limited intelligence' (I hate such medical descriptions) when in longer than hi/bye conversations.
Have heard many instances of male rape, directly and indirect through old job and friends and also their professions. It's just as common as female within government/charitable bodies recording such but seen VERY taboo for a man to voice such in society esp under 30 yr olds to voice it happened - most are 35+ when they talk of such, many by then have some sort of human dysfunction in interacting in a perceived 'normal' manner to environments - most have severe violent behaviour swings.
It is crazy kids at nursery onwards are not educated what sexual abuse is and illegal, because then you address the suffering, possibility of it happening, and the 'taboo' issue of speaking up that gets harder the more time or abuse goes on. Men dont biologically mature fully till 28+ after the last brain growth, esp of abuse and we still have the highest young men suicide rates since they began year on year - mens brains dont process anything the same as a womans till circa after 30ish, it makes things more complicated in everything unless both parents were UBER strong role models.
I know this is a coffee thread, but given the above - all parents please teach your kids sexual abuse like you teach them how to cross the road - red & green man, it is a great way to teach them what is acceptable and what is not, their are many resources on the internet to help you approach teaching your kids what child abuse is with you their teacher until the education system gets proactive.

I feel duly chastened, and apologise unreservedly if I caused offence to anyone, which was not intended. I have two daughters, who are very precious to me, so please believe I do not trivialise rape, even if my language may be clumsy. Thank you for acknowledging the sentiment of my post.

Cheap for the type of machine, but it is like printers. They sell you a cheap machine, then they rape you on the consumables. A basic espresso shot should cost only around 7p for the coffee, where can you get pods for that price?

I agree with the sentiment, but please don't trivialise the word "rape".

They should change 'rapeseed' to Canola like most of the developed world.

I got mine from B&M, i would have been delighted with quality if i had to pay £100 let alone £20/30 Makes great espressos, i was thinking it would be much like dolce gusto but actually much better quality and samples all distinctive blends. This thing is solid and has a real feel of quality
