I think the 10p weekly deal gets updated on google play every tuesday. Every time i have checked its a different game on the tuesday.

Make sure location is set to high and also that the app doesn't get closed in the background. I don't currently have an Android phone with me but if you go to settings on the rewards app there is an option like restrict to launch which needs un-ticking and tick always receive notifications.
Sorry if it doesn't make sense but I dont have a Android phone with me to be more detailed.
