American attractions are selling adult tickets for same price as childrens for a limited time only. Adult tickets are usually over $50,some sites seling adult tickets from £37 upwards so this is a great deal.
Great thing about this company is you can pay a deposit of £10 per person and pay the balance ulti 4 weeks before you are travelling. Good for me as i need to clear my jan tax bill Its open ended ticket for use any day within 2017

I really couldn't call it dull! Did you not get completely wowed with the grand reveal in the cinema? Won't say anymore for fear of spoilers...

I know this is a hugely popular tourist attraction but it really wasn't for me. I found it utterly dull. That said I am glad I went out that way as we visited a nature reserve nearby that was fabulous.

Been three times, first time with my sister who loved it as much as me, last two times went with the wife who just rushed us through it, so much so we missed the new shuttle exhibit on the last trip, I wasn't happy. Can't understand how people can't find the place amazing.
On the plus side we did arrange an airboat tour nearby and had a great time.

I definitely get the feeling its a man thing going to kennedy. Went last summer and dragged the missus and the kids around. I loved it, them not so much, although they all agreed they were glad they had done it. How can you not be amazed at the engineering and ingenuity of it all. My youngest cracked me up and said would we catch anything from ot, because its been to space, too many films for her i think.

Great attraction - a word of advice though...
Consider whether you want to do one of the tours before going (we got to explore the vehicle assembly building and visit a few launch pads) - they can take up a very large part of the day, meaning that you won't have enough time to explore the centre adequately.
It's best to go twice so you get value from the centre admission.

Good value day out, wife and kids loved it. Simply amazing scale and the Apollo return craft make you realise the sheer enormity of what they did. Would need more than porridge to get in that , more like a few bottles JD , truly incredible.

It's been quite a long time since we went, it used to be free unless you wanted to go in the tour. The best place to see a shuttle is at the Washington Air and Space that's worth a trip on its own, and like the majority of Washington museums it's free.

I was lucky enough to see a space shuttle take off whilst visiting. it was something I will never forget. on top of that experience the whole family loved the museum, rocket garden and space shuttle there. depends what floats your boat really?

I did the tour December 2015 and loved it. The scale of it all is insane , you do really have to see it to believe it.
R lass isn't really interested in science or engineering at all and I reckon she enjoyed it as much as I did.

I went when I was 8yrs old and again when 30yrs old. Loved it both times. So interesting.

Some great bits:
Watching a morning launch of a military satellite from the beach and having a helicopter and snipers (who we were told are happy to open fire!!!) within spitting distance.
Being filmed on said beach for an episode on the Graham Norton Show (YMMV).
The shuttle.
Getting to talk to a lovely lady who actually stitched the heat shielding and could point out the ones she had personally done.
QA with a real astronaut (Barbara).
Photo with Barbara.
Book signing with Barbara for my daughter, very inspirational!
Watching a Mars rover uni competition! Some of that was unintentionally hilarious...
Going to an observation tower to see the launch pads.
Realising that the assembly building had its own micro-climate with the potential for its own rain inside on a sunny day!
Lots more!
Bad bits:
Heat as very little shade.
That very lane 'launch simulator'.

Went there in 2003. I loved it but my wife of one week fell asleep in the IMAX cinema. FELL ASLEEP!
Going back to Florida this year and having a tough time getting her to go. Hopefully I can just drop her off at a mall on the way.

Last time I went I saw a launch.
For those saying this is dull are mongs. You're talking about science and space travel, stuff that is real, not the crap you get in the theme parks.

Did it a couple of years ago - amazing! Kids loved it - shuttle reveal is emotional. Wife wasn't really looking forward to it but she was blown away and it's on her 'must do' list for our next visit.
