'Can't see the point'. You would if you have a glass ceiling conservatory. To clean usually means sheeting all below because using a 'blade' to clean produces drips of dirty water. The Karcher solves that problem.

I bought the premium from Screwfix a couple of months ago. I was very sceptical and thought this will go straight back if it doesn't do what it says.
I have to say that I have found it brilliant. Perfect finish and so quick. Love it. Whole conservatory inside and out on a charge done in 20 mins.
So pleased I bought one for my Mother at Christmas. She says it's rubbish!

Totally agree it is a wonderful product that I use daily my only wish is that you could use it on a curved shower screen.

We used to use one of these daily for condensation, filling the tank most cold days. But this year we've left the windows open a tiny bit at night to create some airflow, and we now have basically no condensation. Yes, this is causing a slightly higher cost in heating, but has solved lots of problems. No more mould, saves 5 minutes of window vaccing a day, etc.

I got a WV50 in Amazon's Black Friday sale from 2013 and it's been one of the most used gadgets I've ever bought. The condensation in the back bedrooms in my house during the winter is terrible. I can whizz across with this thing in about 5-10mins in the morning and the job is done. No messing around wringing cloths out or putting up with the hum of a dehumidifier at night (which only slightly relieved the problem)... So that's the point of this machine for me.

we have one (in fact on the second one) it's handy for windows and bathrooms - but we use it lots in the kitchen - as we have granite worktops this is great for cleaning it and getting rid of spills etc

You need a dehumidifier if your condensation is that bad.

Bought the premium version from Amazon couple of weeks ago. After 3 days it went back. I had no real use for it. Used it in the bathroom on shower screen but to be fair the extractor fan is decent. Tried it in the bathroom mirror and left loads of streaks.

Scanning at £50 at Gravesend store. Would have liked it for £12.50 as I bought one from Karcher outlet for £25 recently, which turned out to be broken. I'm starting to wonder if this product is that good... There seem to be lots of people who were less than impressed with it.

Whatever your opinion good or bad this is a good deal. Saves carrying a bucket, sponge, squeegee and leather around the house the convenience alone is worth £12.50 in my opinion. Cleans the car windows well too as I found out at the weekend :stuck_out_tongue:

Just a guess as the ops other karcher deal is from that store. I'll leave you to use google and decide which Newcastle it's in

true a cloth would do the job, however if you have to remove the condensation everyday from numerous windows then trust me, this is an amazing product.

Another muppet on HUKD. It matters because people need to know WHERE to go in order to find this deal. If it actually exists, that is.

I thought it was gonna be Newcastle in Australia. Newcastle under lyme is just a poor man's "Toon".

Manual how to do it cheap:
- open the window
- grab squeegee (buy it first, before opening that window, as it will get cold in the house waiting for delivery)
- remove condensation using squeegee following its user manual
- close the window after all condensation dripped down
Sorted! No need for charging, removing water from the tank etc.

Ideally a cloth. However, some people (including myself) need a bucket with the cloth as there's so much condensation on the windows. We fill nearly 3/4 of the tank with one of these every day - so it's been useful in my household.
