Looks good. Never gone for anything smaller than a 15 inch screen so concerned may find it too small. Assume build quality will feel decent as it is normally a little more expensive everywhere else

Just be aware that the matte screen coating makes the display rather grainy which turned me off the laptop.

I was going to post this myself yesterday as I thought it was a good deal, however I got distracted. It seemed a good deal but wondered what others thought.

Ironically I have £120 credit in my account as a good will gesture after purchasing a laptop which wasn't as described, before enduring terrible customer service when replacing then finally returning. I ended up writing to the man at the top.

Looks like a good machine and is well built but I just did not get on with the touchpad and ended up selling mine (I had the previous model which has the same chassis, design and hardware on the whole). I highly advise anyone considering this tries it out in a store if possible.

Mine was delivered this morning, amazing for the price, solid build quality even compared to my MacBook Pro and even though it doesn't have the edge to edge glass on this model it does have a glossy screen so the colours look great and hardly any light bleed which I found surprising.
Also the trackpad is great, it's glass and is so smooth even though it's not a precision trackpad I am surprised by how good it actually is

Mine arrived today, very impressed. I was sniffing around the macbook pro touch bar which looks like a great portable just 3 times the price and the surface book which is a tad on the large size and dont think I'd be making much use of the touch screen.

bit of hassle but more than worth it for the saving!

Happy with mine, couple of minor disappointments though. The back-lit keyboard shines through the gaps in the keys - more noticeable because of the way the keyboard raises. The trackpad is quite wide, so takes a little getting used to for the "right click".

Having said that, it looks great, battery seems good. The specs are great (7th gen i5, NVMe SSD, 8gb Ram) and the speakers aren't bad at all. HDMI 4k and usb-c helps with "future proofing" the machine.

no, it did the windows 10 installation/update and that's it. first thing I did was check storage. I have cleaned disk including previous windows installation which put it to 188GB.

I've been after a laptop for a while now. "13, 256gb proper sdd, 8gb ram, and most important - HD screen. I don't mind the price went up by £30. Still a good deal at £566. And due to some other factors at the end I will be paying £450.

Edit: It was out of stock for £629 a couple days back.

Anyone recommend a sleeve or protective case that this fits?

Thinking if finding a mac air 13.3" case or sleeve as this is so thin.

It will be fine. The 7th generation cpu chip was designed for 4K as the 6th supported it but takes it bit longer.

Had to return mine after arriving damaged. Could of got another 10% off but it looks bad. Will have to wait.

I am currently on with hp as it seems to run a little warm, battery seems to be lower than it should and it had a little less storage then I expect it should have. but hp support sorting the issues as I type (on my phone)

I'm finding the touch pad (right click) a bit off - maybe need to adjust the touchpad options or just get used to it?

I would say it feels like the left click side bigger than the right click side

Hi, does anybody's laptop base creak when typing or pressing gently and are your hinges even?

Finding one of my hinges coming apart and it hasn't left my desk and treated delicately. Will be asking HP to fix the hinge.
