These are plastic,so no direct heat. Fine for micros but detachable handles would be better.

The best thing about these transparent pans is that they don't get stained by baked beans and tomato soup and suchlike. Unusual to find them with lids for this price. Heat.

I'd recommend glass for the microwave, then you don't have chemicals leeching from the plastic.
