I wish it was more curved and 3d ! but flat in places with a 56 inch screen - has only got 4 hdmi ports - I need 5 and only 3 usb ports when I need 4 ! is only 4k I would prefer 5k and it'd a bit expensive for such a measly 55" screen. Bring back black and white tvs they were so much better.

Apparently only "slightly curved" :smirk:

Agree. I've voted hot as the price is very good, but would prefer 3D over curved if a TV had to have one quirky feature.

Just hook up a Raspberry Pi to it. Also, you say Kodi is your "minimum" requirement, what's your maximum?

That one was £11 cheaper and not comparable as it was the M3300.
The Opinion on the M6600 is that it falls somewhere between the M5500 and the M7000.
What I'm getting at is curved tvs were originally only on tvs that were £1000 plus. You can get flat tvs from £80 plus. Sorry for the confusion.

I was only criticing your comment about "curved giving it a premium look" - putting it in a harrods bag would achieve a pemium look. Surely you are primarily supposed to be evaluating the performance of the product ? Arsenal (who I support) look good but don't actually perform very well when put under pressure at the highest level.

A mate has just bought one of the 65"LG OLED curved telly's. Fantastic picture, and tbh,you don't notice the curve. Not sure if that helps really, after all it is a feature, but you don't notice it?

Fantastic deal, I would have gone for it if it had 3D. Wouldn't mind the curve but would rather pay for 3D than curvedness.

We got this TV when on sale at AO before Christmas. Fantastic television and actually a better picture that some of the over £1000 panels. Many quick to dismiss it due to not well known name, but can assure you, cracking television for the price. It is only slightly curved as mentioned above.

boots and ao are the same company with white goods! Amazon are a much better retailer tbh!. had a terrible experience with ao and would never shop with them again! I anticipate that people are put off with hisence products as generally they are poorly built and quite nasty. however I suppose since Amazon are a reasonable retailer if its so bad you can send it back.

bought a 55" hisense about six months ago, it's better than the Samsung I had previously and the Sony I have in the bedroom. use it daily for the xbox, Android TV box and Virgin media no lag, great picture, don't let the lesser known brand name put you off, this is a fantastic tv, just needs some better apps, Amazon prime app would be grand

7 Jan 17#48
Apparently the M7000 has an 8bit+frc panel too so I don't think there'll be that much in it to justify the extr cost
I have this and honestly its a fantastic tv. Only negative is there is slight backlight bleed but the picture is perfect. great for gaming. Forza horizon 3 and battlefield 1 look stunning on it. It looks really classy with the curve too. I bought this from ao before christmas and its been superb. My mate paid same price for a 1080p 50inch samsung but I think I made right choice getting 4k hdr.

Not necessarily! You'll find that a lot of things are made in China, MacBooks for example, I wouldn't say that they're poorly made. You obviously don't know what you're talking about.
