I seem to recall it being a bit of a fiasco last time they had a half term special offer tickets.

we went to the Exeter one last march and had a good time. wouldn't pay full price but good deal at half price

We've done this for the last two years in Exeter as well - I know that one of the years it was absolutely freezing (and windy) though - think it was the year before last - you definitely need to dress up warm.

Great place - been many times over the years ...... kids quite like it as well. As an example, last year we had my daughters birthday party at Rochester diggerland, every dad turned up as well :-)
