Choose from a range of great destinations and take advantage of fantastic seat savings across the GWR network. Whether it’s a city break to the capital, a relaxing weekend in the Cotswolds or a coastal getaway to Devon or Cornwall; there are now even more reasons to travel by train this new year.
Promotional fares must be bought a minimum of 17 days in advance of travel.
Book early to avoid disappointment. GWR have released a total of 400,000 seats (300,000 Standard Class & 100,000 First Class as at 6 Jan 2017) but once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Not ready to travel this month? You can still book for this Spring, as long as your return travel is completed by 23:59 on Friday 24 March.
Hurry ticket sale must end at 23:59 on Wednesday 25 January.

GWR are the worst train company known to man and as such I only travel when the tickets are these prices. Thanks for the heads up!

We were made to pay for more tickets after they cancelled the booked train. This is for 50+ passengers. GWR are scum. Train service is rarely punctual.

Re-nationalising would, as Southern have shown, lead to a strike every other day and a block on modernisation so this would make the railways even more expensive...

I have to agree that Southern are bad atm. But GWR are, and have always been bad. No idea how they keep that franchise.

The franchise tender competition was put on hold in 2012, following the West Coast refranchising prices collapsing.

Hot from me !
Have just purchased 2 sets of single tickets for myself and the family (2 Adults and 2 children) for Truro > Paddington and returning 5 days later, Feb 1/2 term week for £45 each way (plus Nectar Points as well) ...
Normal prices are £285 return, so this is a proper bargain

I don't think there is a list, you just put in the stations and dates you want and do a search, if there's any of these special offer tickets available they'll have "January Sale" in red next to them.

I'm not sure how you travel, but I'm usually aware of where I want to start from and get to. Must be quite exciting to pick these from a list
It's pretty wise having your bike when travelling on GWR as when the train breaks down you have a plan B

Cost of tickets is a joke: Reading to Paddington return peak is £52 (how can they justify that!) and you NEVER get a seat and are lucky to get on the train. Reading to Paddington is Europe's busiest commuter route/railways line.

Or I could travel over such a distance for work that many start and end points are applicable to me.....hum which is the most likely option.
