Tesco Extra Stevenage has cases of Goose Island IPA 12 x 355ml Bottles showing as Reduced to Clear for the price of £11.25
Odd as they only started stocking these just before Christmas, cases wouldnt actually scan so assistant took a photo of the shelf edge label barcode and scanned that.

That's what I used to think myself. But it was absolutely flavourless (to my palette only, of course!).

Goose Island Brewery is a brewery in Chicago, Illinois, that began as a single brewpub opened in 1988 in Lincoln Park, Chicago, and named after a nearby island. The larger brewery opened in 1995, and a second brewpub, in Wrigleyville, in 1999.
Lovely stuff.. I tried going back to the old rubbish I used to drink that you see on the average pumps in bars, had to pour it away. Got a free bottle of Cobra with an Indian takeaway the other night too - couldn't drink it.

Well I love the real ale but I have to say that Cobra goes lovely with Indian food.

Noticed the other day that Blue Moon in Tesco is now brewed in the UK, no biggie except they are charging the same price as they were for the imported stuff yet the bottles have shrunk from 355ml to 330ml....

Yea been the case for a while , I dont bother with it anymore . Was also surprised to learn the same thing about Samuel Adams beer .

Goose Island: AB InBev bandwagon brand.
Nice enough beer though, and better than wasting your money on their rice beer.

I tried it over Christmas and found it incredibly bland, nothing like a decent IPA. Didn't realise it was a "pretend" brand though - that probably explains!
Good price though if you do like it
